I won an auction from them and promptly paid. A week later I recieved a refund from PayPal. I contacted the seller by email and he never wrote back. They never answered the phone number listed. I threatened to call the cops and they finally called me. At first the guy gave three different company names until someone in the background said "You are Soundgoodies". Then the guy said the item was out of stock. I was suspicious because he had several in a dutch auction and I was the only bidder. I looked in his store and he next day he had relisted the items at a higher price.

When I pointed this out and insisted he send mine, at first he refused. When I threatened to contact ebay he said he would have to speak with his manager and call me back. He never called back and never answered my emails.

I reported him to Ebay but they say I have to forward one of the emails from the seller before they will step in. I explained that the seller never sent emails, only called me. I offered screen shots of my PayPal accounts and to forward them the voice mails he left but they won't accept that. Then a few days ago the seller leaves me negative feedback. According to his feedback he has done this before and I think he knows that if he never writes an email, Ebay won't step in.

 

Hi, My name is Dan and I am the owner of soundgoodies. This particular member bought something from us that we posted and paid for it. We found out that we made a mistake by having a typo on the ad, it was 1 letter off. We immediately refunded him with a $5 credit to our store because the one he bid on was no longer available. So he got his money back plus $5 to spend on whatever he wanted at our store, but he still wasnt happy. He proceeded to blackmail us saying "either you send me the speakers priority mail 2 day for $40 or i will leave you negative feedback." remember 99.7% feedback on ebay is very hard, most members dont even get that high. Please keep in mind that you have to hear both sides of the story to get an idea of whats goign on. He claims that we dont answer phone calls or email. If you would like to test this, you can contact us at.
