Joos,

Man, this is quite the **** up you have gotten yourself into here.

You put up a product for sale, a product that no one is even sure you ever actually had in your possession at this point, sold the car without taking out the ECU (why the hell not do it right then rather than later?), proceed to say that you shipped the part providing a FAKE tracking number (fraud), then waited for the blow back once the part wasn't received.

Once you were called to the carpet, you stated you would send the money and gave a particular date when the money would be received. Again, when the money wasn't received, you again were sorry, you didn't know your grandfather didn't send the money. What happened on Wednesday when you didn't receive your grandfather's check? You didn't think to call him and see what was up THAT DAY!?

Now you want 4Dr to act as this was a loan from him to you. You want to pay back in parts. But how can anyone believe you at this point. You have outright lied, have been slow to react, and just generally have been a pain in the ***. We all have problems, but right now, you stole money from 4Dr.

Here are my suggestions to all parties involved. Joos, you should get on the phone with 4Dr and work out some sort of agreement. As in, 4Dr will get at least XX dollars every week for however long it takes for you to pay him back. You keep saying you're a man of your word so this shouldn't be too hard. I also believe Joos you should pay some interest since this has turned into a loan. I wouldn't worry about percentages, I would just work out an agreement you'll pay some money extra over what was owed (maybe $550 total).

4Dr, I would consult a lawyer and ask what your rights are in this situation, and what can be done if Joos does not live up to whatever agreement you come to between the both of you.

Joos, 4Dr has been pretty damn understanding. I would do whatever you can to get his money back to him ASAP. And I would start by talking with your grandmother and explain the situation to her. That's to say your grandparent's ever agreed to help you in the first place. Right now, nobody can take your word for it. Pretty ****ty situation to be in if you asked me.

Ryan,

I think you'll be able to send me at least $40 to get this rolling. You did send an RPM switch out didn't you?

Wow, this thread is out of control, one lie after another. He says hes getting his sh*t together, but this is awful. 4DRSpeed I would say you have given him enough time, first off with the ECU and now with the money. $515 should be paid in full, why screw around with it anymore. You have kept a very clear head about all of this, but enough is enough.
Its obviously going to keep dragging on and on.

I would contact the authorities.

I totally agree...and it doesn't really matter if Ryan is having a hard time...thats HIS problem....OUTSIDE of the business....this is business and nothing more....and 4drs has been very forgiving....its now or never....

Simple answer to these types of problems. Ryan if you take someone's money you send them something in return.

Basically he has to Wednesday or the authorities will be called end of story. Once again some crap has happended. He tried Saturday I believe to withdraw money from his CC and his CC was expired.

His new CC arrives Wednesday. If I do not get a confirmed tacking # Wednesday that money has been sent out, the authorities will be called. I am not waiting around ANYMORE!!

You know I am not even really sure. I believe the main excuse for not getting my ECU is because he did not have a stock one to swap, but even then I'm not sure.

Interesting thread.

You are one patient man 4DR.

I know if I were in your situation (Internet deal gone wrong with someone I don't know). I would have called the police a minute after I found out my money was stolen. Irregardless of what the other person promised or said.

If you still want to give Joos a chance. I suggest you put everything in writing. How about Joos sending you a notarized promissary note, with repayment terms, and spell out exactly how much he'll pay and when he'll pay.

I hope you get your money back.

was it really over 20k? I thought the coilovers were at $700 shipped a pop...that would mean he would have to sell over 28 coilover kits to exceed 20k...was it really that many people?

From what I remeber yeah... Some were more than $700 as the deal went on. Some were $700-$775 I think.

The more I think about it, he might have had close to $35k... Let me see if I can dig it up, but I think it was deleted.

Edit: I cannot find it. But he had a ton of money and quite a few people were in that deal.

I'm going to average the coilover sets to be $750 a pop....I divided $35,000 with $750 and that comes out to be 46 sets! Did he steal money from other forums too? It's hard to image him selling more than I'd say 20 sets on the org....seeing that majority of the org still runs on stock, springs, struts

It was 4th and 5th gens, I think about 20 people got screwed out of the money completly and many never re-purchased through Urban Import. I think many 4th gens switched to the KSports. He really blew the whole deal for D2 and Urban, they got stuck with a ton of left over sets, thats one of the main reasons I re-purchased through Urban when I got my money back.

All in all there were a ton of people in the transaction, many never got money back, some ditched coilovers all togeather, some switched to KSport and some re-purchased through UI.

I pretty sure he had between $30-$35k of peoples money.

i do not like dealing with ryan, he was the first person i bought off of on the forums last year and got a y-pipe, he never told me there was a hole in the threads on the flex section. He had agreed to give me some money to buy a new flex, and to this day have not seen a single cent. He likes to play games, and will never get back to you, i gave him negative feedback and somehow it got taken off. I think cuz he left feedback on me saying that i lied, but i have several .org members who are witnesses to the flex section, so i got that taken off, and somehow he got his negatives taken off too.

Ryan i laid off your back for a while cuz it was only 50 bucks, but seeing what you are doing to other .org members is just annoying and wrong. I want my money now because i think the flex section is actually starting leak..

ahhh...so it was you mr duck? i totally remember someone who left joosdawg a negative feedback last year....joosdawg stood out from the crowd cuz he was one of the only members on the org who had negative points in their feedback...thats why I remembered him clearly...I just couldn't remember WHO left him the message....

To Joosdawg- these guys have been more than fair and I feel that you are taking advantage of this situation.

Police Have Been Notified!

Just a quick update. I have been really busy, my parents' house sold so we have been packing a lot of stuff here.

But just quick update on the last IM I had with him. He has now completely ditched me. This is the biggest deuche I have ever dealt with.

1/18

ShadyMailMan3 (3:55:16 PM): money?
RYan jOO (3:55:54 PM): yep, i will be going soon i need to take a shower then i should be off and ill be sure to get delevery conf or w/e for tracking
ShadyMailMan3 (3:56:33 PM): alright. please just email me or IM me whether im away or not.

you can even txt message me **********
RYan jOO (3:56:52 PM): ok will do you should have it by 5 central time
ShadyMailMan3 (3:57:15 PM): alright cool. just keep me updated
RYan jOO (3:58:10 PM): yep

And I have just notified the Appleton Police department. They told me an officer will call me back with new information, etc. Mr. Duck I suggest if you really want your $50 back, I suggest you call the Appleton Police as well, just to give them more of an incentive to catch this a$$wipe.

I don't care if I don't get my money back AS LONG AS this fukk is in jail.

Update

Officer has called me back.

Basically I am going to have to take Ryan to a small claims court, which I really do not have a problem with. The way it is going now Ryan probably won't even show up so then the cops can arrest his ***.

www.myspace.com/joos10

His myspace is such an interesting piece to look at. Why you ask??? I don't know maybe it has to do with his income. $45-$65K a year. If this BS is true I sure wish he can work out all his problems with his lease and maybe send me my $515 back.

But oh no this is too much to ask for when you are asking someone that is the scum of the earth.

I hope Joos is going to be banned. Not that the coward will come back and own up to his crap anyway.

It's a real shame that in his feedback, Duck's negative feedback was deleted. Maybe this would have never happened if the feedback was correct. Moderators, I would look in to your feedback policy to make sure something like that doesn't happen again.

Well according to MySpace he's been on a PC today...You would think since he's got such big plans for a limited edtion japanese import spec Mitsubishi he could pony up $550+ to take care of his obligations.

I e-mailed him on Myspace not that it will make a difference but at least he knows that folks all over the intrawebs know about his BS.

EDIT: Here's what I got in reply:

Im glad you think you know somthing... Anyway too little too late, maybe? but i have sent email, aim messages, pm, and myspace messages to andrew for his either current mailing address or even better paypal ID so i can get a good chunk of what i owe over to him. No i dont have the entire amount because all i have left is what was left over from buying a new car again, the sole purpose of doing that was to come out with more money so i could pay off debts like this. Im am prepared to pay at the least half today and going to my bank to file for a personal loan to get the rest to 4dr. Take it for what you want but if i get a paypal ID by tonight there will be over half deposited there. Then hopfully i will get accepted for a peddly loan and be able to send the rest in a few days. It looks like andrew hasent logged in today so i will assume he is busy with things and his house move. I will check in throughout the day to see if i have a response to my request for paypal info.

to clear this question up, It was the fact that i had the TS ecu in my car then ordered a stock ecu to put in it before i sold it but the guy i ordered from took 2 weeks to ship it and it wound up getting to me 2 days after i sold my maxima. Nismo** w/e his name is said he would swap units when i recieved the stock ecu but after a failed attempt by him to show up to do so and trying to set somthing up then all this other crap started happening i kinda gave up. The ecu is still in his car and i have the stock unit sitting on my dresser right here. I have gotten pics from nismo that confirmed it is the technosquare unit but its not like that matters now sense nothing ever worked out.

in did u see what i said back? it got rediculous trying to meet up with him because he didnt show up and i waited 4 hours then the car he traded me a shift cable broke and i couldnt get to him. This prolly would have never gotten as far as it did if he held up to meeting up with me the ecu would have gotten to Andrew a LONG time ago but the meetup never happened. and just for refrance so no one calls me out on it heres a picture of the cable that broke

12/18/05 when i was supposed to meet up with nismo2ner again thats what happened after i couldnt get the damn car in reverse to get out of the driveway to swap ECU's.

Hmm...well I dunno who to believe...I mean nismo2ner clearly states that you stood him up...and you were the flake this whole time...and iirc...he said something about you "trying" to sell him a TS ECU (claiming that your maxima you sold him, had a stock one)...but in reality it was a stock ecu....just so you can get that TS ECU off your old car to sell it to Andrew....

Hey Joos,

Actually, you still could be banned, but that's neither here nor there. I'm 4Drs brother. So I know quite a bit. He's working at the moment, so I checked his email to see if what you said was true. For everyone on the board, he did write to him asking for his paypal ID.

So for everyone here knows, here is 4DRs paypal ID : penpusher@hillyhead.com.

And, Ryan, I hope your paypal account is hooked to your bank account. If you are trying to pay with a credit card through paypal, my brother won't be able to accept the payment since he only has a personal account.

I'm sure my brother will be on here later to verify if you actually have sent the payment or not.

Steven, I'll admit I'm going to be biased, but isn't it easy to figure out who to trust. Ryan is the same guy who sent a fake tracking number saying the part was on the way. He stated that he was going to get money from his grandfather to pay my brother back, never did. He then wanted to make ****ing payments to my brother, then disappeared for two weeks. From the board, from email, from IM. This is the same guy who stated on IM that he was going to shower and then immediately go put a check in the mail, never did.

See, if I owed someone a nice amount of money and didn't have it, I would make myself very accessible and do my best to work out the best possible solution. Ryan perpetrated all those things, but in the end, NEVER came through. I'm hoping he'll FINALLY back up his word and paypal half the money today now that he has my brother's paypal ID.

I think it's obvious who can't be trusted.

If he needs to pay with a credit card i would be willing to let joos send me the money to my paypal. And then forward it to 4dr. I can accept cc and could care less about the 3% as long as 4dr gets some of his money back.

oh i was just being sarcastic in the first sentence...I obviously know who is speaking the truth...its okay to be biased...I know I am....joosdawg is a liar and he can obviously say that nismo2ner was the flake...and make himself look better so he won't get banned....and scam more people

I dunno whats up with this whole paying back in payments thing....HALF? wtf? what is up with this guy? seriously....

payment was just sent of exacly half of what i owe andrew, which is $257.50. Im sure he will be coming on later tonight to varify that i did actually send it. This wont be over til i send the other half but at least i got that much out. Steven88- I understand you dont believe me because i lied to andrew many times, but think what you want to think he NEVER SHOWED UP! i sat in Greenbay for 4 hours at a gas station waiting, calling his cell phone and getting hung up on once, and his home phone but unable to talk to anyone. I got home and he said his mom had a tumor or somthing and was in a hospital and thats why he didnt go but i drove an hour for no reason. I think that topic is done now because it doesnt do any good when it makes no differnce anymore. The refund is what is happening now. Btw why would i get banned for this? i dont see any rules about this situation and banning, thats what the trader ratings are for. Besides im sure if he leaves a bad comment and everyone i know has already scene either this thread or the other one no one will want to buy anything from me anyway so why worry?

12/18/05 when i was supposed to meet up with nismo2ner again thats what happened after i couldnt get the damn car in reverse to get out of the driveway to swap ECU's.
not to start an argument but i waited for him two diffrent days... and one he said he could not get a ride because the talon was not shifting and could not use his parents car and the other i have no idea i just got fed up and left. We tried to work something out but the first time when i did not show up me and my family where just getting back from a big vacation to Maryland and things just did not work out so we tried meetin gup after than and he failed me 2 times so i gave up and figured this was all a lie. so then he said he would trade the ts ecu for my frist gen intercooler (which i have not gotten yet stupid ebay) but if 4door was sapsost to get it then what was i going to get for the intercooler another stock ecu that he said is a ts ecu or was 4 door going to get the bs ecu..... im not sure but thats kinda my "story" and thoughts on the whole idea.
