no it doesn't end here. The 10th he was suppose to pay me the rest. He still gets on AIM. I asked him on the 11th what is up.

He had to buy a crib for his daughter and something else so another week. We'll see. I'll give him a week and then ask him again.

He isn't hiding from me at least. But I will get the rest.

He doesn't HAVE to buy this crap. He HAS to pay you back. He should be that one that is sacrificing so that it's easy for you. Definitely not the way he is handling it. I'd be scared to see where this guy ends up in 10 years.

Hope it eventually works out in your favor.

i agree, but it took him a month and half to go out of his way to pay me at least half.

quite frankly I wasn't shocked a bit to hear that he didn't have the cash. I don't think anybody else is either.

It is just a matter of time again.

I wonder if he paid you half just to circumvent the laws. Some states provide for release of restitution since he has made a payment to you. I would just go run over his new car with a paint roller and write scammer all over it. That would be worth 257$ to me. Just a thought though. I'm not provoking anyone since that is also against the law as is FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't generally judge a person by their mistakes. I will judge them based on what they do to address a mistake.

Taking all the information into consideration, i'd say this person is extremely selfish and inconsiderate, and cannot be trusted, imo. I wouldn't expect that to ever change. Paying you seems to be a low priority for Joosdawg. You'll probably get paid as you are saying, eventually...

I can be selfish too at times, just like anyone else. Joosdawg takes it to an extreme.

Hope folks remember this guy's selfish, inconsiderate, modus operandi, next time they consider getting involved with a deal with him.

I actually really don't have any time. I work about 50+ hours a week.

But I called the police and then threatended to take him to court. And it seemed to scare the **** out of him because the next day I got half my money.

If I have to take him to court I will. But I know I will get my money back just a matter of time when the excuses run out.

I know if I were in your situation (Internet deal gone wrong with someone I don't know). I would have called the police a minute after I found out my money was stolen. Irregardless of what the other person promised or said.

If you still want to give Joos a chance. I suggest you put everything in writing. How about Joos sending you a notarized promissary note, with repayment terms, and spell out exactly how much he'll pay and when he'll pay.

I hope you get your money back.
I second this! Hope you get all your money back +++Plus interest. You are a very very very Patient guy

Wow haven't been on the ORG in a while, but I cannot believe this isn't taken care of yet.
Nice to hear he did send half the money, but damn you would think by now he would have cleared this up.

Wow this really sucks. When I got my mevi from him everything went smooth. At least he is still trying to get you your money. And he kept communication, if he was really going to scam you he would have ignored you completely. Maybe I am too trusting but I think ryan means well, he simply does not have the money to send. Any updates on the money?

No need for the cash.

I am quite sick of Ryan. IMed him the other night, claimed he just installed a driver for his camera and had to reboot. Never got back on.

It looks as if I'm going to have to talk to a lawyer and get advice on taking him to court, because quite frankly this **** is pissing me off.

I guess he figured he was leaving this site since he bought a precious Galant VR-4. So I guess he would screw me over. Seems to have so much money to pay for an ugly POS and get a front mount for it and everything, but yet can't pay my $250 back.

Real work of art, and apparently despite what people have said at the beginning is not a great guy at all.

I gave him a thumbs down early last year. I bought Gen II tail lights off of him. The goof doesn't know how to pack things for shipping. Just noticed how old this thread is too.

Isn't this imbecile, Joosdawg, the administrator of the Maxima Racing website?

Did he start that website up? It costs money to do that and maintain it!
