:stfu: I will do just that, and like Irish mentioned, once this business with chillin is resolved, you may no longer be permitted to do business on the .org, let alone be a member.

The two weeks you asked for have already expired, so maybe before you start planning on what you want to purchase off other members, you should take care of current responsibilities you're involved in.

Why i am not going to permitted on the org after this ? I did nothing wrong. All im asking for is just time to get the money.

Just take care of your business and change your signature while you're at it.

You're really trying my patience this morning. Your signature is not appropriate or allowed language for the open forums. Clear enough?

So your going to sell something, and pay him back. So what if that transaction has issues? So the members of this forum should line up to get their problems with you solved on each others backs until the last guy in line gets screwed? Your robbing from peter to pay paul how does that help anything?

thanks guys. hopefully this can be a lesson learned for everyone if nothing else. (even Alex).
I think we should get a sticky in the for sale section that is something like "HOW TO PROPERLY PACKAGE FRAGILE ITEMS" and I know it is "buy/sell at your own risk" but it can't hurt to list a couple of guidelines for people who simply just dont know better. Common sense isnt all that common...

305BlackMax97, you have exactly one week to have the money to chillin. After that, you will be perma'd. If you don't have $40 available, you should not be driving a Maxima, you should be driving a Geo Metro.

I agree 100%. I hate giving my input in a matter between two people but I just can't help myself this time. I wanted to say those exact words since I heard him say he's in financial dire. If you drive a Maxima you have $40, period. If you are changing your oil and pumping gas etc., there is no excuse for stiffing somebody for $40.

I traded my safc2 for a vafc2 and when I met the guy up I wired up both AFC's to my battery to confirm they worked...sure enough, both powered on. I started to second guess myself and decided to test the SAFC1 alex sold me again, so I clipped the harness to kill any doubt that it could be a connection error. I noticed every tiny wire corresponded to the color of the wire it came out of on the other side of the harness except for the red and yellow for some reason. So i grounded the grounds, and tried both the yellow and red wire but nothing happened, the unit is FOR SURE broken. The tiny red wire makes the buttons light up, thats all.

This is a shame, as a new member I'm somewhat reluctant to deal with other members here as a result of the transaction and the ridiculous delay in meeting the guy halfway. I'd like to think everyone here has some spirit of brotherhood in their dealings, is that or is that not the way it is? How often does this kinda horseplay go on? The Scoob.

From personal experience, I've had good dealings a majority of the time. We have some awesome sellers on the org and just very honest up front individuals (ex: fanaticrockford) I've had a couple situations where I felt like the deal was no good and the seller refunded with no issues.
I think some of the more common problems are things that are common sense to most and not all. Like, packaging something properly.

a month and a half later, and Alex finally refunded me the 40 dollars. thanks alex, and yes I will send you back the SAFC so you can "see if its actually broken". Funny to think i'm going to package a broken SAFC better than you did for a supposed working unit.

anyhow, you'll get it within the next week most likely. hopefully this can be a lesson learned for you in many ways. And hopefully from an ETHICAL perspective you feel some sort of satisfaction.

I want to thank everyone who supported and helped me especially Irish44j, semy2k2go, scubasteve, mygreenmax94, and mtrai760. really appreciate it guys.
