I see no reason at all to accept a mailed repayment. I used paypal to send the money, just use paypal to send me my $230 back. Simple and everyone can finally move on.

Just be sure to use the "gift" option of Paypal or you'll lose that small percentage. That way the transaction will be $230 with no deductions.

Easy there tiger. Sometimes your wording sucks. Here, let me show you.

The first sentence would lead people to believe he's getting a $130 refund. The second sentence can be construed both ways. He'll either be getting a $130 refund or $230 refund. In other posts you make, you make it clear it's a $230 refund. See the confusion now?? I know what you're trying to convey, but you have to admit your wording is poor sometimes.

Carry on....

There's an award on the BBC show Top Gear that would be ripe for this sort of thing.

amazingly it looks like it lol

but the dude keeps whining that his name is getting slandered, yet he basically is slandering his own name by being such a you know what. most people deal with buying stuff from other people because its friendlier, even Ebay sellers only charge a 10% restocking fee on returns, and this stuff wasnt even shipped yet he wants basically a 33% restocking fee

This all boils down to the laggy replies from the seller. Adding to that the fact I did move to Washington from California, where I hardly know where to go..etc.

Not to mention safer. Anyone who gives their address to anyone over the internet is a complete fool. Especially when there has been a dissagreement leading up to it.

Maksima, why dont you want to refund via paypal? Its easier, quicker, simpler.....so the only real conclusion that can be made is that you are just being difficult. And since you know he wont give his address, its a way for you to keep all of the money. In other words.....you are a flat out thief!

Why dont you just refund the $230 by paypal? That way you still make $100, and this all goes away......RR5 still loses $100 which still makes you a d-bag of a seller. But at least he will get some of his money back.

At this point I'd post a huge THANK YOU if I got the money back via paypal. Be glad I'm not the IRS or it would be $500 to pay back, which includes interest and late payment fees!

so this guy still hasnt given the money back???

hes crying about his time and gas and effort to take things apart.. if all sellers thought that way then profits would be minimal.

this guy is a flat out idiot and the fact that he wont paypal the money back to RR5, makes himself look like a scammer.

get the money back and ban this fool!

Wow this is f***n ridiculous. This a**hole needs to get banned right after he gives the money back. OP, I think you should just accept the mail refund ONLY if he mails it certified mail with tracking because honestly this f***er probably doesnt even have a paypal account anymore or it will take another year or two just to get your money back. Just take the $230 have him mail it certified with tracking and call it a day. You have waited long enough to get a refund. This is ridiculous.

RR5, maybe the safer way to accept a mail payment is to get a P.O. box that he can send the $$ too. Just a thought.

This is better than Failblog.

And lets face it. This post was started in 2008. If no one has seen a cent now its not going to happen. (But don't close this thread. It makes great bathroom material to read on my iPoop app.)

RR5, at this point I think it's time to just take the loss. I don't think he has any intention of refunding your money. If he has an ounce of honesty or integrity, he would of made the effort a long time ago.

maksima, if you want to clear your name...refund the full amount of money. You've pretty much slander yourself by inaction.

If my work allows me to get a mailbox, I'll update here with my work mailing address. Send the $230 (Yes just take the $100 for your time, effort or however you label that) to the address.

Any updates on this? It is time or past time to get law enforcement involved in this. You've ben waiting way to long for this to happen with no resolution in sight.

I am waiting to see if at my new job I can accept incoming mail, then I'll post the business mailing address and will wait for my $230. I'm being gracious and asking for $230 to help push this nonsense into resolution.

I think we should just give up on this scum of society and ban his IP from this site for good. If this guy was here to scam then he is only sending us on a loop.

I have dealt with scammers who took my money and wouldn't even ship what I bought, and every time I called or sent an e-mail, they were doing something EXTREMELY important that took them away from shipping the item. I could call and they would say that their "dog has just passed away and they will be attending a funeral all day" or "they are screwing Beyonce" and cannot ship my item.

All in all, I had to call my credit card company to finally get my money back and it was THEN that I got a serious and angry response asking why did I do that, when he was going to ship right away. And so... he wants me to send that money back so he can send it. It was then that I say something like "I hope Beyonce rips your **** off and shoves it up your ***" because you are not seeing another cent of my money.

maksima: After such a long time, there is no doubt you have convinced yourself you are completely right in all this. No doubt you also believe your good name has been tarnished all over the internet. No doubt you believe that in dragging up dirt on a person you disagree with somehow justifies your position and helps you look better.

However, if you truly desire to end this and have your name cleared, then you need to return the money. You agree to repay $230, then so be it. By using either method (Paypal or shipping to address provided and requiring a signature), you would have documentation that payment was made and any dispute between the two of you resolved.

So, how about stepping up and showing the whole internet that you are really better than RR5. The alternative at this point maksima (using your own argument) is that you show everyone you really are a crook and no better than a pedophile.

Scammer gets scammer title until the OP gets his money back. Just send the frickin' money to whatever the OP wants. Once you send, verify and use a signature service, you are absolved from responsibility. That is once the OP verifies receiving the funds in good order. Until then you get scammer status.

I think he is doing exactly what the scammers usually do once you back them into a corner they stall and send good trusting people on a wild goose chase.

Maksima,

All you seem to do now is talk about everything but the real issue at hand.....you like to come back after extended periods of time to only talk about the buyer, the so-called slandering of you name etc, but not the real issue at hand.

Are you going to send the $230 or not? You've now been given an address to send it to. If so, when?
