i dont believe goldtooth was a theif/criminal.....he sold parts on both the 4th gens and 5th gens.

WOW that is a crazy story!! The blanks are left to fill in. Guess no one will know the truth.

I do know one thing 4th gen owners, i strive on being honest and fairly priced when i part out my 4th gen's. I look forward to doing business with each and everyone of you.

a members car was in an accident. The car went to a repair centre. it was stolen from the body shop. A few days later.... parts show up here in a massive f/s thread.
Owner of said car recognizes some of his parts and lets the insurance company know about it.
goldtooth is called a thief and is accused of selling parts from a stolen car. Has no proof that he didn't steal a car and his story doesn't make any sense.
Banned from here and the chicago site.

Thats my take on it anyway. If I missed something or got some of the info wrong I apologize in advance.

White Max gets totaled and is taken to body shop where only 3 people know the location of the car. Goldy and another local member that was going to buy it and flip it. Goldy wanted the trans. Few days later the insurance company calls and says the car was stolen from the lot. Little by little parts that are very similar that were on the totaled car come up for sale on here through Goldtooth. After 3 months he puts a trunk for sale that was identical to the one on the totaled car. Heres the catch. Prior to releasing the car to the insurance company the owner of CNC swapped tailights with the totaled car. The left inner light had a broken piece that was super glued by myself. That throws up a red flag. Trunk is bought from Goldtooth. Ex owner has a spare key, tries it and works properly. Goldtooth does nothing to help and comes up with lame excuses.

Believe me when I say that I don't ban people just because they're not from Chicago. We actually have a dozen org members in the site that have dormant accounts.

Either way, I've said my piece and leave it everyone else to decide for themselves. I would like to thank the moderators of the org for doing what they have done, and cooperating with us.
