I will never order from SARONA again

I placed an order on 2k2 sarona rear bumper from custommaxima.com.
I undrestand that it is not Greg's (from custommaxima) fault, but these guys have been giving me excuses and promises for the past three weeks. I was suppose to receive the bumper three weeks ago I have called them 5 times, and every time they either tell me that I will receive it soon or that someone will get back to me and they never do. Also my friend just received his rear bumper for a 99 max after 2 months of waiting, and it was all deformed, it did not even fit, the gaps on that bumper were so big that you could fit a finger between. Also the fiber glass is very thin which means that it will break easily. Anybody that is even thinking about ordering from sarona should seriously reconsider and find another kit, I know I would if I had a chance to do it again. BTW can I do anything to get my money back, my CC was charged the first week I placed an order, I will call them tomorrow and see If they can somehow stop the transaction.

I'm sorry to hear that, I have never dealt with sarona but I really like the way their kit looks. You'd think they'd be anxious to make a sale with a customer; wonder why they are stalling....

About your credit card, thank god you put it on a credit card, call up visa/discover/whoever and tell them you are refusing to pay for the product because of all your reasons and they will handle it from there. I've never had a problem with Discover, it takes 5 minutes of talking to a nice understanding customer service rep and then they handle it from there.

I always put all maintanence on my credit card in case something goes wrong. That way I can call the credit card and tell them why I'm refusing and that way never have to deal with the annoying company (in your case sarona) and their bad service at all. It doesn't matter that it has been a week, just as long as you havn't received and paid for your statement already you should be ok. BTW, you probably don't have to wait until tomorrow to call your credit card company, they should have reps 24/7.

Thanx a lot for the advise I will wait till tomorrow since I emailed them and told them that I will contact my CC company. I really dont thing that with this kind of customer service they will get very far. I just hope that the other org members dont have to go through the same BS I went through with them.

There's a guy selling his entire Sarona kit for $600 shipped in the FS forum. It's already painted grey lustre but you can repaint it if need be.

Just to let you know we are phasing out Sarona Design products. In my own opinion go with the Skyline kit, it fits better, is ALOT thicker, better quality, and costs less too.

This is probably the billionth time this has been said, but don't pay cash for stuff that's not local. You're asking to give your money away.

If you pay with credit card and there's any kind of problem, you can call them and dispute the charge. I'm not suggesting you abuse this, but it is an option you have to protect yourself against scams. One thing to keep in mind, if a mechanic does work on your car and you dispute the charge (faulty work, won't honor the warranty), they can try to put a mechanics lien on your car, meaning they can claim they own that amount of your car that you owe them. I'm not sure if this only applies to parts, or labor, or both. It's better to work it out with the shop.

The skyline kit for the 2000+ Maxima is in the works now. Expect it in 1-2 months.

Funny, this sounds like the exact same things I said about a year ago. Only difference was I waited over 7 weeks, and Sarona kept telling me "oh it shipped out last week you should have it within 2 days" And when I got it, the back bumper wouldn't even go onto the car at all.

Guess some things never change.. I waited almost 2 months before I got mine. My car was less than 15 miles away from Sarona dist.
