Quirk Nissan/Braintree Ma.bad business practices
#1
After working out a good deal on a 2k se, I went to pick up the car, and while giving it a good lookover, I noticed a scrape on the rear bumper cover. The gen mgr came out and said "we can take care of that". I explained to her that this is a brand new car and I don't want it repainted, but want a factory painted cover. she assured me that was not a problem, and would call when it arrived. When she did call to set up the appointment, I had now gotten a very small stone chip on the front fender and asked if they could dab it with touch up paint while they had the car.No problem she said. To make a long story short, when they finally returned the car to me(7 days later) they had only repainted the cover and had repainted the entire front fender!!!!!!!! The paint did not match, it was splotchy with dust embedded in it and had gotten overspray on the rear lights. Needless to say I was pissed and demanded a new car, which they were not willing to do. The owner of the dealership (Mr. Quirk) would not take my phone call.
After threatening to go the the Atty. General and contact my lawyer, They agreed to refund my deposit and void the contract. I then went to Clay Nissan in Dedham Ma. and purchased the same car, With no problems. Lesson learned?
The lowest price is not always the best deal!!!!!1
