Need to get a key programmed in NY area.
When I got my car( 99 Maxima Se-L), I had two keys. One of which I use now, and the other was placed inside my viper alarm. Today I went to Koeppel Nissan and got a key made but not programmed for $47. The cost for it to get programmed was $83. I thought that was a bit overpriced, but didn't think much of it at the time. After waiting for 3hrs, I checked on my car and they didn't even start working on it. I mean how long does it take to program a key? Anyhow, I had left after that cause I had something else to do and was fed up with waiting. In short, where else can I go to get the key programmed with better service? (cheaper would be good too). I live in the Queens NY area, thanks for reading
Hito,
Since you are new (just posting)"Welcome"
so anyway.. in future do a search so you are not banned for life.
.
I got my key programmed at Prem Nissan in New Rochelle (Exit 16 off I-95)and it cost me $41 w/tax. Ordered the key from Tustin for $31. Koeppel, in my experiece, is not about customer service. I think their motto should be: gimme the loot!
Anyway, like I said there is tons of information on here so run a search and be patient about it.
