Redlinezone Sucks!! (this Is The Company Doing The Gb On M3 Mirrors)

Well, a lot of you have read about my experience with Redlinezone. They're the ones supplying the M3 mirrors on the GB. To recap, I ordered a set of M3 mirrors from them for an Integra that they supposedly had in stock. 70 days later, dozens of unanswered emails, dozens of unanswered calls later I cancelled the order. Of course they didn't respond to this request either so I filed a chargeback. Then of course they emailed me back stating sorry for the inconvenience, here is your tracking number. This was 7 days after I filed the chargeback.

I informed them that I had already cancelled my order and filed the chargeback. They emailed me back stating sorry for the inconvenience and that was it. BTW, the tracking number was bogus. My credit card company states that the chargeback will be completed by 1/05/03, they give Redlinezone 45 days to appeal. As of 12/30/02, Redlinezone had not appealed. On 1/05/03, I checked my statements, and they had not refunded my money yet. So today I called my credit card company and they told me that on 1/04/03, Redlinezone appealed the chargeback which buys them another 45 days before they have to return my money. I asked my CC company if Redlinezone had provided any new info regarding my order in their appeal, and I was told that they had no new info.

The rep told me that on 2/23 I would be guaranteed to get my money back as Redlinezone had no proof they ever shipped my item out. I honestly think they're just trying to buy some time. They're guaranteed to lose the appeal, I even have the email stating my order was cancelled and I'm sending a copy of that to my CC company. I mean, why file the appeal the day before the deadline when it had already been 1.5 months since they were contacted about the chargeback, it's not like they didn't know about it. Especially after they had already told the customer his order was cancelled. On 1/04/03 Redlinezone knows full well they never completed my order and it had been cancelled, so there is no reason to file that chargeback unless it's to buy extra time.

I've been in business 3 years now and have never had a chargeback. The only thing we had even close was when someone's CC sent a request to see if a customer's order had been shipped. Kind of a precursor to a chargeback. And within 3 hours, I had faxed the CC company all the tracking info and invoices. It doesn't take that long.

So this whole incident has taken 4 months (during which time I got 5 emails total from them), and all I have to show for it is a headache, and a lot of lost time. My friend had mirrors imported from Japan in less time. This is an incredibly shady company.

So for those of you in the M3 Mirror GB, best of luck. I ordered something that was supposed to be in stock and this is what happened. You're having to wait on them to make something...
