frankencar????

i ordered a intake with a apexi filter last week...i recieved theyre payment notification immediately after i ordered but nothing since? the other day i emailed both adresses on they're site to check on the status of my order and when or how long before it would be shipped and recieved....still no response from them? so then i tried calling the phone # of the office after 6pm...no one answers the phone..and you cant leave a message...ive called several times. i know things can be busy and im not trying to be a pest..but id really like the piece of mind to know that the 200.00 i gave them is going to get me the product i paid for at reasonable time....if they dont answer emails or phone calls than how is a customer supposed to get in contact with them incase of a problem or any reason for that matter? this is my first dealing with them so i really dont know what to expect......is this usual, should i expect a email or something in the very near future or should i keep on top of it?
thanks

I know how you feel Gixxer, I ordered mine on the 9th, still don't have it. The website says they ship within 1 to 2 days. I emaailed them and got a reply saying that it was going to ship on Monday 2 day priority, well Moday was Presidents day, so I would have thought it would be sent on Tuesday, I was hoping to get it today, but didn't. I really hope I get it tomorrow because I am out of town for the next 3 weeks!!!.

FrankenCar is a part time business for Steve whom is 19 years old I believe. He's probably busy with full time obligations.

Any reputable business should at least make consumers aware if they have problems getting their product to you in a timely manner. I just had a horrible experience with warpspeed and they have lost a customer because of it. Oh well, these companies will learn someday... I hope.

Why don't these companies just tell you when an item is out of stock! I understand that they don't want to lose an order, but they would do better in the long run if they established themselves as a business with integrity.

If they did that then a lot of people would complain about how the company never has anything in stock. No offense to anyone here but, in my experience with customer service, most customers try and find something to complain about. Even if there isnt anything wrong. Thats just my $0.02, so take it for what its worth.

Well I posted a thread in the 4th gen forum regarding frankencar, but apparently it got moved or lost or something. I don't know. But, I ordered mine with the apexi filter on March 13th. I emailed them with no response. I too would like to know if I'm gonna get ripped off or what?!?

How long could we possibly have to wait for our intakes? This is going on a month now. I sure hope it gets here before May 19th, because my house is sold and I have to be out by then
I guess there is nothing I can do short of driving up there and whooping some @ss Just kidding... I guess I'll just have to be patient

you wont get rolled or take a lose on your product or money, it will come...and i learned that the long way...i was experiencing the same probs like you guys with no response..and long waiting , not sure what exact part was holding up the shipment but i ordered in the begining of jan and recieved it in the begin of march..but let me say this it was well worth the wait..best thing to do is just forget about it and youll be suprised one day when it arrives..which actually happened to me...i agree with all about the way its handled , but in reality it truely is a side business and you have to cut them some slack...my suggestion is to call the cell #s on the site untill you get a response and theyll fill you in on whats up
