That's what I said I would do. Different. So sorry on that one.

If we figured out it wasn't Yoon's fault, then Ob should have no problem settling the issue w/ ups directly and not involving Yoon(taking up more of his time than necessary). Besides, again, please explain exactly what Yoon could do?

Owned again. Besides if you're not for sale, why did you use the same smilie?

Yoon filled his obigation TO THE LETTER. That's the end of the story.

so, if we figured out that it was not Yoon's fault, then he
should have no issue calling UPS and helping his customer retrieve
his money.

end of story.

whatever Jeff...
this is POINTLESS because you and I are not involved...

if you feel that you've won, then great -- we're all very proud!
the whole point is that someone got ripped, and no one (it seemed)
was going to help him...that's all.

You know what the real point was?
1) Someone is not familar with tracking numbers(that's okay, he's good at it now)
2) Someone believed what UPS was smoking. Just because UPS says something, doesn't make it right or the right thing to do. Why? Because it's obvious that the customer service representative didn't know that their OWN package got held up in Candadian customs. What kind of customer service is that? Apparently alot WORSE than whatever service was received by Yoon(who actually did what he was supposed to do) And if the CS rep actually knew how to read their own tracking numbers, they would have known that they were scanning it on the 24th(ie.. had it in their facility/posession).

It's funny because up to today, it wasn't pointless.

You have been a worthy adversary. I'll spot you one the next time to make it even

explain...

tell you what -- how about you DON'T explain, you lock this thread,
and we END IT -- otherwise, I might have to report you to a REAL
moderator for wasting precious server space...

You want to feel like you win -- fine -- I don't care!

The truth is, now that the weekend is here, I don't need to look
busy at work -- sadly, this is all you have to stay busy, so I
understand your determination to save face (where would you go
without this?)

besides, you and I are the only one's reading this thread

Haha. I guess it's down to cheap shot time.

How about you realize that I'm not a moderator in this forum? So I guess your logic failed you once again. You make one Shity Vucan!

Another failure in logic. You have been trying to win this as much as I was trying to make my day go faster. Sadly, you waste the day and lose.

Damn, I got you down for 4 spots next time. I might was well not reply to you for about a day, then I'll chime in.

Jeff. Please revisit my posts which have the UPS information on it.

If it left on Feb-24-03, it was guaranteed to be in Toronto at 10:30 am on Feb-25-03. You'll see that it was still in Minneapolis. It's not customs holding it up because customs is on the Canadian side .. not yours.

As an aside .. each time I did get a hold of Yoom he told me that he hadn't looked into it because:

1) The regular UPS driver was on holidays so he couldn't make contact with the guy that originally picked it up.

2) He was really busy and hadn't had any opportunity to follow up with UPS.

After each of these calls, Yoom told me he'd call me back. I have yet to receive a phone call. I even posted my phone online!

Yoon had it to UPS on the 24th. As long as he did that(which by the tracking info he did) It's up to UPS and UPS' customer service to sort it out. UPS owes you a refund. How could Yoon hold up the shipment if he gave it to UPS? He has no control after UPS has it in their hands. Why is that a sticking point?

Once UPS has it in their facilty, Yoon can't give you any more information that you couldn't look up yourself.

And to Jeff....You have proved why this is is under your name and called the : jeffy :

Also on a side note from up top Jeff....You must not know how UPS works? They will not, will not, give a customer a refund without being contacted from the vender. I've gone through this with them a few times. Yoon would have to contact UPS regardless of who's fault it was.

Feel free to respond back in anyway you wish. I wasn't going to post anymore but had to give the to OB for getting this resolved. Looks like this post was a pretty good move on his part. It paid off in the end, no matter what everyone else thought.

Anyway's, it's Saturday and i'm gone fishing.....Later

Nice to see your real character on true display.

Mess with Jeff, you mess with me. Clear?

Spew this garbage in a forum I moderate and you're gone.

------------------------------------

As far as the shipping fiasco and "overnighting" things to Canada, here's what UPS states on their website when I looked into overnighting something to Toronto:

The two overnight services provided by UPS from US to Canada are as follows:
[*]Use UPS Worldwide Express Plus for door-to-door and customs-cleared delivery of your urgent documents and packages by 8:30 a.m. on the second business day.*

[*]UPS Worldwide Express For your critical international shipments, UPS offers guaranteed* delivery in one or two days, depending on the destination.

For urgent shipments to Canada, UPS Letters and packages are delivered by 10:30 a.m. the next business day* to most major metropolitan areas, and by the end of the business day to most other destinations in Canada.

Since the first one is $100+, I'm assuming the second one was used for ~$70.

Obviously, the ambiguous wording from UPS would lead me to calling and asking which is the best service to use based on my needs. Leaving that the sole responsibility of the selling company, especially one that doesn't do this on a consistent basis, ALWAYS leads to issues.

Choosing to blame the company and not asking your own self what you could have done better to make things happen as planned is a reflection of your own laziness and character rather than the business.

I fail to see the point of this thread being a legitimate complaint about an issue with the company when the company utilized the services requested. This is a UPS issue and nothing more.

the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation.

this is the exact context that I intended in my post. Yes I did read the origional post.

again its this kind of BS on the internet which turns potentially useful sites, like maxima.org, into useless rice boy sites.

"Potentially"? This site is useful. Why do you continue to participate in this site if it has not met your lofty expectations and standards?

Rice boy? lol. It is more than just Altezzas, led washers and ugly body kits. Rice boy is an attitude like yours. You have offered nothing to this thread but demonstrated that:

A. You have no reading comprehension skills (evidenced by your inability to understand the reason of the first post and everything else it seems) and
B. You consider a person expressing a legitimate grievance with a vendor for lack of communication to resolve his problem as a "whining mama's boy".

Besides, the thread did help him and others as people have contributed UPS policies pertaining to international shipments, gave examples of good dealings with the vendor, and most importantly the vendor replying and resolving the problem thus clearing this issue.

You are beneath this post. You are beneath this site (even though you think you are above it ).

Do everyone a favor and take your unfounded elitist attitude with your pHaT rYDe elsewhere.

Yep everything resolved: And the results are:

1) OB got the issue resolved but refused refund. Ok. He's satisfied.

2) As a result, don't look for anymore GDs from Justin in the near future. Don't ask me how I know Too bad, those prices were fantastic.

I guess everything is all better now.

FloBoy. Those aren't cuts, unless you got offended

I know Justin MC for a while myself, and he is a good guy. But you can't stick up for someone when really you don't know the facts.

Like you jumped my case for sticking up for Don when I know him. But even if I saw the paperwork on what happened doesn't mean I know everything. Get it? So stop backing up someone. Justin can post here to back himself up on this if he wants.

I know the facts. I stick up for him because he's a straight up dude.

Threat? no. But would you keep doing favors for someone/people that just bash you in public and make sigs that DISCOURAGE doing business with them? EXACTLY what incentive would that person have to continue to extend favors? NONE!

He got a GREAT deal. Period. If it wasn't he would have gone somewhere else right?

Plus did ONE DAY make ANY difference? What is the price difference inbetween one day and two day? Is that really worth making Justin/Yoon look bad when all the other guys got served well? [/B]

All the facts were stated here in the thread. Don was less than forthcoming(I believe). And it seems that me jumping on your case with Don was justifed(in the end)?
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....66#post1961666

From what I have read, he owes more than a few guys some serious cash.
