I am sick and tired of this problem/noise with my max. As you may have read in earlier posts, 5 out of ten times when I put my max into reverse at first start in the morning I get some kind of clicking/Clunking noise a split second after it gets into gear. I (sometimes)can recreate the noise (although not to the same magnitude simply by going forward about 15 ft, stoping and then going reverse again. Only this time the noise does not come after a few seconds, but after I roll a few feet. I have brought the car to 2 different dealers for this noise- First Kings Nissan- the replaced a motor mount that they said was cracked. And Bay ridge Nissan replaced an axle. Both of these dealers said that the noise was because of these components. Miraculously the noise stopped after each one of these procedurese for about a month. Now its back. it is embarrasing, It's like i have a beautiful shiny piece of crap. I dont knwo what to do, b/c both of these dealers say that the car is fine. What the hell should I do? I have a nissan security plus warranty until 70k- i have 40k now.
