PROCARPARTS: Nightmare on the Net !! Beware

Since I have started modifiying the Maxima I have had numerous encounters with vendors. All but 1 or 2 was excellent and the others were only average to poor.

Pro Car Parts would not send item after I paid

Procarparts is now the worst company I have came in contact with in my life. Here is what happened. I won some carbon fiber Gen 2 Altezzas from them on ebay. Paid the total amount in full with credit card. Then got a call 2 days later with them saying. We cannot ship your item. I said fine, while I dont understand why you cannot, just give me my money back. The guy on the phone said it would take at least ten days. Didnt sound right to me. So I called my bank to have them check into things. So the Pro Car Parts People were supposed to be refunding the money. Had to check with bank again, and the bank had to deny charges.

At this point, Pro Car Parts had still not returned the money to me and had tried to charge the card about 8 more times. Im seriously glad I had everyone watching what was going on.

Now I dont know about you, but so for, this is some seriously sorry service and questionable. With all this going on I looked at the better Business Bureau rating for them on the net and I was not surprised and should have checked it first. They were terrible and was given unsatisfactory ratings.

I still have not gotten my money back

And of course they are not going to send the lights either. And that I just dont understand. But what I do understand is that this has been the worse experience I have ever had with any company. And I
HIGHLY RECCOMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE ELSE who sells the same items. And this is coming from someone with lots of online purchases, and over 300 combined ebay transactions.

My insurance is that the bank and credit card company are on top of things. They said they will take care of it all. But you know whats the hassle. I will NEVER do business with them and I cannot and will not reccomend them to anyone.

BOTTOM LINE: STAY AWAY ....!

i have dealt with procarparts on numerous occasions. while i agree that they are very slow with shipping and responding to inquiries i have always gotten the products i have paid for. i in no way promote the way they do business but can vouch for them as far as delivering product. they have never tried to charge my cc more than once but everything that i have ordered from them has taken about a month from the time i paid to the time that i receive product. good thing i'm patient.

Got my Otto Racing FSTB from ProCarParts, and they were pretty prompt in shipping my order out in a week.

Update: Procarparts finally refunded my money. I personally will not do business with them again. I guess you never really know when any order will go sour like this one. I understand there will be mistakes sometimes and as it turns out it was my unlucky day. As a consumer you expect to feel secure and treated properly when something goes wrong, and for whatever reason. I was not ! I did want to mention that the company did refund my money...for the record.

I bought TWO Otto Racing FSTBs from ProCarParts... the first one was several months ago, the second one was a few weeks ago. BOTH of them arrived within a short timeframe and I had no problems with them (one was ordered from their web site, the other from an EBay auction through them).

I support ProCarParts.
