FrankenCar
FrankenCar
While FrankenCar's products are of good quality, their customer service is horrific at best. I've read other posting problems with customer service, but my experiences with them was good until recently. I know they are young and I know they have full time jobs. My support bracket recently broke. I've emailed every address listed on their site, I've called every number on their site and left messages. All I wanted was a new bracket. I have yet to get a reply. What is so hard about responding to customers?
I am having some issues with frankencar currently. I ordered my mid-pipe the 10th of this month. Week and half went by with no responce, other than a reciept for payment. Emailed scott, got nothing then called a few times, no answer, then i got a hold of him. He told me they are waiting on the couplers and told me to call back this week. I called yesterday, no answer, left a voicemail. No responce to my voicemail, called a few times today and still no answer. So i have no clue whats going on and when im getting my mid-pipe.

im in the same boat as you guys i ordered on the 13th of november and nothing yet
you guys are lucky... if I could find the post (no search f-cking sucks), you'd see what it was like last year. I got one of the original hybrids when they started selling them and trust me, the wait was pretty bad. at the time I worked at a mail-order computer parts place and would get calls on a daily basis when something arrived a day or two late. well... it took Steve two and a half months to get an intake in my hands. they're good guys, but this isn't a job for them and perhaps they should say so right on their website. people appreciate honesty. if you say "it'll take you about a month to get your part" you'll have less customers but more happy customers. the other thing is, if you're trying to do a "backdoor group deal" by taking a 100 people's money and only then making the product, well that's just being an a--hole.
Oh whoo hoo I was gonna start one of these threads. Recently..............wait let me rephrase several several months back when I had to take my mid pipe off I noticed that the internal peices of epoxy had broken off.........where could such a product go though?? only one place to go the intake manifold. No problems as of yet but I am still waiting. If you have an epoxyed intake such as I, I suggest you just put your resonator back on. Soon enough the tubes will just break off..................and steve will tell you he is sending u a new one.........but guess what..............three months later........still broken intake and viola...........I have nothing from franken car. Even after a couple of emails of yes I will send you one. blah. I wont buy anything from them again, I constanly follow their new exhuast threads as well...they post them up for sale...but dont respond back. Something doesnt jive.
