Perhaps Andy needs a PR guy who will baby sit his emails and reply to them in a timely manner. Since Andy seems to be very pre-occupied with running his business and doing the actual work, he can use a person that will do his clerical stuff for him. I know how its like running a business. And if you are a small business, you are the owner, you do all the accounting, purchasing, PR, sales, and labor. A pair of hands can only do so much. Now however he prioritizes all these things is his perrogative. But a customer on the other end will only have one perception of you, and that is how you communicate with them. Most people are resonable and will incorporate patience when its withing reason. But by not responding at all because the batch of CF pillars for example came all wrong is WRONG! If it is impossible for you to answer all your emails, then have someone else do it for you. Good workmanship is surely a good way to keep your business going but impression is what will stay with you no matter what you do and where you go. And impression is what quickly goes around people when your company's name is mentioned in any conversation.

2DaMax... You bring a very good point... I cant tell anyone how to run a business, I'm not in business however you hit the nail on the head.

I'm not only mad that I got screwed over, I'm mad that $50 of my hard earned dollars is gone.. frankly its not a terrible amount of money but damn thats a nice dinner with my g/f or 2 tank fulls of gas...

I hear ya, I got screwed over $30 by an eBay seller a year ago. I went thru the whole 9 yards with all the process you have to do thru eBay for them to investigate. I know its only $30 but the principle of the matter is what inspired me to pursue it. Nothing came out of it however, I am more cautious now when it comes to doing business online. What helps the most is that now, I have access to the legal system no matter what time of the day or wherever I am. My motto is, trust is earned not given in the beginning.

Some of these people vouch for Andy, but people's experiences say otherwise. From reading this I know to stay away from TET regardless of whether they are stand up or not. I would not like to be in the situation some of these people describe. Up to 6 months for a product? I'll shop elsewhere. Sorry to hear about your troubles fellas.

That's what I was wondering as well. All three threads that I've read pertaining to TET has no replies from him nor any of his representatives. However, when I started a thread about recommended local shops, I immediately got replies from them. Go figure.

Those that know him well get treated well, those that he doesnt know get pushed over... I noticed he even changed his name from slammed95 to TopElement now... whatever the reason a million people can vouch.. I guess a handful dont really count.

Well that's really a great way to do business, treat everyone rationally! Here's the thing, you tend to get screwed over more by the people that know you well because of the friendship status. They'd assume you will give them lineancy all the time and let things slide. You almost don't make money from friends because they all want a ridiculous discount unless they have a good concept of how a business makes money respectively to cost and retail price. Its funny people would vouch for someone and no matter what had happened to someone else, they still will vouch for that guy. So where is the honor system there? Even eBay, with such an honor system in place, still get dishonest sellers who end up victimizing people. So what do buyers have for their protection and peace of mind? Just the freaggin' feedback system. In a way in here, the feed back system is what we have seen going back and forth in this thread and others. You can't blame other people for jumping on this guy especially if he is known to treat only those who know him well and screw the rest of those who just want to do honest business. I certainly have these threads bookmarked and I'm keeping a close eye on where all this is going.

I think he is intentionally trying to avoid this thread for obvious reasons but he is actively participating in other threads like this one: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....=1#post3520722

Then perhaps you should spend more time getting the confidence of these people back instead of trying to tell me how to handle my business at the carwash. You obviously have more work to do which directly concerns your business otherwise, these people wouldn't be complaining in here. And people wouldn't complain if they are getting the proper communication to keep them informed even when you are on vacation. Ever heard of email auto-reply?

We are actively trying to get people any parts they may be missing. I have explained it numerous times to those involved, about what's going on and what we are doing.

People like that tend to call on other people's actions yet they have not seen what their own actions had done.

Nope... and I dont even fight anymore... I just hope no one else gets treated that way. Thats the only reason I'm still bumping the thread.

Obviously as you can see theres not much to say, Come on now, I've exhausted my efforts to email and PM him and contact him through others that are close to him and vouch for him... QUITE A FEW I MIGHT ADD... 3 others to be exact....

I think I've been as fair and civilized as anyone can be without harrassing him...

Who the hell is editing the postings and replacing names with stars? Double standards on .org prevail or what? If someone would have screwed me over and changed his nick or ebay ID, I would have expected that the new ID would have been made public, not the old one. Some mod here is doing favours to the crooks. Do we still want to associate with such people? I bet I will get hit for this posting but I COULD NOT CARE LESS. No one can shut up my mouth by force.

Did it ever occur to you that they were banned, deleted from the database, then added to the filter list so we dont have to hear about them and their bs again?

If you need to get ahold of them I'm sure you could PM Larrio or one of the other sachriders.

Try thinking before posting.

Strangely, this works in favour of the new nick.

looks like you had a lapse in your thought process when you posted below. yes that's you coming out accusing a mod favoring a guy who cheated people out of their money...that's said without any proof to it. you don't operate this forum..how would you know that a mod is favoring someone?

If Panda-1 gave Andy his password then he can post. If it's found that a member has given a banned member access to the forum, a permanent ban will be placed.

Ok, not to defend andy or *** in any way because ive never done business with either of them.... but sometimes businesses have problems due to suppliers or distributors going haywire. getting mad or angry won't help the situation anymore. now if they were having a problem like some of you said where it was taking 3+ months to ship an order they should have refunded you the money and/or offered you free shipping or a decent discount for the prolonged wait. just my 3.5 cents.

3+ months? Try 1 year + 3 months. I paid for them on Memorial Day of 2004.

"They" or more correctly "he" is in Ca. But why would you even care about this enough to even try to "improve" customer relations?

cause at least they are trying to do something with maximas even though they don't really do anything other than carbon fiber. not many people do custom work for our cars, or attempt to without a good sized deposit. but i probably wouldn't help them just because once you get a bad name for something its extremely hard to get it back, not like they would take my help anyways.... sorry replace "they" with "he" where ever you deem necessary.
