I dealt with Alex at Southwestautoworks to get my Sprint Springs...he was good and promt, good price quick service and all that.

My roommate ordered Sprints for his Saturn and has had a less than stellar experience so far. It started off well, Alex quoted him thebest price around. He also said that he didnt have the springs in stock and it would take three days to get them once the money arrived. My roommate wanted them ASAP so he spent $12 extra to have the money sent overnight. It arrived there on Saturday March 24. He got a confirmation Email from Alex saying that the springs were already on the way to Phoenix. Then he got another Email a few days later saying that the springs werent even ordered till Tuesday the 27th. He said that they would take 3 days to get to him and would be shipped that day. The springs werent shipped until Tuesday April 3rd. All this time Alex wasnt exactly speedy in response to Emails about the status of the order. Also he completely ignored my roommates request for expedited shipping since he had spent extra to get the money there fast.

Just thought I'd let you guys know.

Maybe the place that Alex ordered from was at fault. He can't really control how prompt they ship the order.

I like ours have done buisness with Alex a few times. All my transaction with him has gone thru with flying colors, but I'm sure he doesn't have 100% customer satisfaction. [b]I dont think your thread intended to flame him[b], just to imform others. As the previous member mentioned maybe his spring supplier was not diligent in ordering/getting the springs. Hopefully he will get a explanation of why the shipping was delayed

Really, don't axe them bc of one experience which was probably not due to him deceiving you but not being given the right info by others upstream.

I haven't ever bought anything from Southwest Autoworks yet but all of the other members at the altima website haven't really had a problem with the service they received from Alex.

alex is a great guy and runs a great business. I know from personal experience to many times that manufactureres can be slow with shipments and the middle man ends up getting all the complaints.

Yep.

I'm having that problem with Alex right now for my Sprints.

He's got 70 springs on order, and Sprint just isn't shipping them. He's been very good so far about letting me know what's going on, and even offered to return my money because it's taking so long.

But that's unfortunately the way business goes...not his fault.

I told him I'll wait until Friday, and if he still hasn't gotten an answer from the supplier, I'll take my money back.

Alex is a good guy

Alex is a pretty good guy he was unable to get me my sprint springs for my car and answered all my emails and gave me the option to return my money. I awaited but when I told him to return my money he was more than happy to reacredit my account very fast. Sprint was the problem not him. Busisness is so good he can t keep the shelves full at all times, so cut the guy a break.
