Depends on the day. My dad has gotten 4 maximas from there no problem (He also knows the sales manager, so that helps) Brought my friend there, and he hasn't had such luck.

As far as the service dept. My friend brought his altima there, they charged him like $600 and didn't fix the problem.

Parts wise, they're cheaper than QUeens Nissan, I'll never go there again. Queens wanted $197 for a knock sensor... Bay Ridge wanted $167

From what ive heard they are very bad, also you can try to narrow your search by using this website www.dealerrater.com just pick nissan as manufacturer then pick your state and see what people have to say about the dealerships around you.

Well I got my car back from them and they fixed my clutch problem but now after the car is warmed up and I am sitting at a light or just parked the car shuts off on it's own. The rpms start to go down but then come back upthen go down and the car shuts off.

Outsider- I usually go to Geis upstate (i know a troop but I am so happy with there service)

Hopefully they call me today and everything is fixed. But next week i am gonna take it to Geis so they can look it over.

Here is an update. They crashed my car!!! Brought it back to the dealer and they left it in first and when they went to go move it they auto-started the car and BAM crashed into a Dodge urango, also clipping a 300M. So now it is in the insurance comany's hands. Any advise.

here are pictures of the car at the bottom of page 2. I have to take a picture of the side, it goes all the way back to the driver side wheel well.

2 of my friends bought maxes from Bayridge. I think overall the Bayridge Dealers are horrible. My friends each had significant problems with their maxes (a 95 and an 02). 95 - Check Engine light kept coming on within 2 weeks of purchase (but he crashed the car within a month on the Thruway going to Albany)
02 - Car just arrived on the floor and my friend bought it almost instantly (i believe about 1500 off ticket price). Within 2 weeks, he had to replace the muffler. Friend almost complained that he got **** tires (whereas I got Cooper Radials from Autotech)

At the current moment, I recommend Autotech Nissan in Manhattan on 57th? to people. My first car purchase and they quoted me 3500 off ticket price within 5 minutes of being there...whereas Bayridge dealers quoted me at most 500 off ticket. In all sense, the deal I got at Autotech was far better than anything I would've gotten in Bayridge.

I just gotta deal with the ignition coils now...

thanks choyd lolz he was talking about my max. i am the one that got the 1995 max. red color. abs and sunroof etc... so many problems wen i got it. had it for 16 days and check light turns on. took it in for a fix. no report back but light is turned off. i drive out. lookin for parking space so i double parked and out of now where the light is back on.!!!!
i also paid 300+ for inspection and tune up. no proof of the tune up or the point inspection. instead of getting the regular free inspection i wanted the FULL point check. no proof in getting one. just paid for it and noticed afterwards.

in one month before the crash i got 3 check lights on.
car crashed due the a slight malfuntion on steering wheel, unable to respond if driven for longer dan 2 hrs. i was 30 mins away from albany and from nyc to albany is 2 hrs and 45 min.
wanted to sue but the malfution on the wheel passes city and regular driving. no luck there.

price of the car on the book is worth 6000. ticket price was 6500. obviously i talked it down. but after all teh taxes and so called tune up which i did not ask for onli asked for point check came out ot be near 9000 RIP OFF

if u want pics of the beat upcar,

If you're in Brooklyn try Kings Nissan on Coney Island Ave & Ave. P. I bought my Maxima from them and it was a good buying experiece overall. Been to their service department once. Walk in without an appointment and they took me even though they were busy as hell that day.

DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM BAY RIDGE NISSAN....thats exactly where i got mine..thnx god most used cars come with a 3 month warranty...it felt so fuked up after pulling it out of the lot i brought it in the day after i even purchased the car.....Tranny was completly shot and another huge problem with the MAF thnk god i brought it back..they sold me a huge POS...i always thought the car drove rough untill i came onto the org..i also discovered 4 damaged hubs..broken engine mount 2 front strut mounts ..2 tire rod bushing all bad NEVER AGAIN...and to top it all off i paid 15,500 for the car cuz i figured it was a "quality" car cuz its from a dealer

Personally, Kings Nissan sucks. I needed some bulbs to replace the ones lighting up my climate control and they gave me the wrong ones 2 different times and I had to take my dash apart 3 separate times in 2 days. I personally like the Nissan dealership in Westbury, New York on Charlotte Ave. They are very knowledgable and my dad happens to get a discount there since he owns a repair shop near there.
