Ebay sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just want to let u guys know that im greatly dissapointed this company... they claim it is OEM certified as a factory replacement.. Yea not only do the bolts not fit on the holes of the car but there is no way that you can put this thing on without drilling holes... Well i gues i learned my lesson for buying crap on Ebay.

well for 51 bux is it really that bad? If you didn't have a factory spoiler allready you'd never know the difference.
false advertising and thanks for the warning. I won't buy from them.

I like my tail smooth. 90 bux I could buy some sound deadener (duct tape with aluminum foil) or seat covers maybe even leather-like. The spoiler just doesn't do anything for me.

good for you????

"This is a BRAND NEW lighted rear spoiler.

Fits Nissan Maxima from 1995-1999. This is a factory replica spoiler that fits and looks identical to the factory Nissan spoiler, it is OEM certified as a factory replacement. THIS IS NOT A CHEAP CRACK PRONE FIBERGLASS SPOILER, IT IS MADE WITH OEM MATERIALS. Part number 1610"

non-OEM parts usually do not fit the same as OEM. Like my bumper cover. it was non-oem and it took alittle work. as sadi above, "you get what you pay for"

I bought this EXACT SAME spoiler. Originally, I had also thought this was an OEM fit, direct replacement. I bought it, and realized it is acually a spoiler that looks like it was molded from an OEM spoiler. The bolt holes are not in the factory locations.

Me having a GLE, I did not have a problem drilling any holes, because I would have had to anyway.

Bottom line, if you already have the factory holes drilled, and are looking for a direct bolt on replacement, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. You will be okay if you have a GXE, or a GLE that does not already have the factory spoiler holes.

Also, it is NOT made of OEM material like it says. The factory spoiler is plastic. This spoiler was made of a chalky plaster type material, which had a huge crack in it when I received it. I did not want to have the hassle of shipping back and forth for a new spoiler, so I fixed it with Bondo.

Look buddy, if says "factory replacement" and "OEM certified" it usually means that i would fit the car dont you think? i believe that everyone would agree

Have you tried contacting the seller? Maybe you have a defective spoiler.

You sure this isn't a "post your best pic of a 4th Gen Rosewood Maxima" thread?

FormerAccordMan ... did you get a paint job to the 5th gen merlot color or is that photoshopped/tinted?

Sorry for the thread hijack.

A maxima without a spoiler looks like crap. It looks like it's missing something, like, a spoiler.

I think you're the one that needs to read it. f550 never said it was OEM, the auction says OEM certified, go read it.

A spoiler does absolutely nothing unless you are travelling 200mph. I like seeing all of those crappy cars from other manufacturers with a spoiler on them. Then I think why someone would buy those cars. Maybe because of the spoiler.

His auction states " satifaction Guarenteed " so what the problem. Send it back for a refund. You'll loose shipping but consider it a lesson learned. Go to a local salvage yard and buy a original or find one here is the forums.
