Don't shop with Maxspeed Performance!

Everyone,
Thought I'd caution anyone thinking about purchasing from Maxspeed Performance (www.maxspeedperformance.com) based on my experience with them. Usually, a few problems could be expected when ordering merchandise from a vendor - I understand this. However, I can not understand a total lack of respect and concern for a paying customer. I can't say what they do for every customer, but I can tell you what they did with me:

Here goes the story:

I ordered a set of springs from their website 12/28. A day later I recieved a confirmation e-mail from them stating that the order had been entered. I also noticed that they charged my credit card. This was a little unusual in my experience - most just put a hold until the merchandise ships. Well, a week goes by - no shipping notification, no status update.
I decided to try calling them. No one picks up. Tried e-mailing them. No response. So, after doing this for a few days, I'm wondering what the heck is going on.
Finally, I get a little nastier - stating they can cancel my order if they don't let me know where it stands. I get this generic 'it'll ship today or tomorrow' e-mail. Those days go by and nothing. Finally, I write back telling them to cancel my order. Still nothing. So, here I am, 2 weeks later, $$ poorer, and still no springs.
Fortunately, credit card companies can help with these things - otherwise I'd be kissing that $$ goodbye for sure.
So, going on my experience, if you want to lose your money, patience, and your time - order from Maxspeed Performance.

Lets all note here that "Maxspeed Performance" is not associated with Maxspeed springs (which are made by Gold Line)....just so people don't get confused!

Thanks guys! Sorry about the posting - I realized I should have put it in the dealership/vendor forum after I put it in here..

And Irish is totally right - these guys have nothing to do with Maxspeed springs other than they 'claim' to sell their springs .

The biggest thing for me is making sure no one else has the trouble I do - these guys don't need to be pulling this stuff on people. I'm pretty sure I'll get the $$ back.

I looked at the site, and what a terrible place to shop at, looks more like a spam then anything else.

Shoudn't we all be glad to catch this message right here in this forum? I mean, who would read in the dealership experience forum out of ordinary?. I think we who see this thread are just lucky to catch this in time before we don't catch this message at all.

Hope you get your money back, I got maxspeed springs, they ride kinda rough, but they are really hard springs that performed well at corners. drops are pretty low. I got my springs as shipment notices indicated. So, I'm sorry to hear about your case here.
