Its funny how 3 months doesn't seem as bad as 1/4 year.

1/4 Year. That's ridiculous

I never bought anything that took this long before. I know there is delay that could happen, but this is looonggg time. They should at least update the buyers with what's going on. I never heard anything unless I call them, and all I got is "It's going to be ready next week" every time I called. I think Redline needs to step it up before they start losing customers. That ActiveTuning grill starts looking better and better...

Dang This is exaclty why I started this thread. You know, it's one thing to have productions problems and be upfront about them but this is .....bordering on lying. That is really scary when it comes to your hard earned cash.
If Redline is having issues, they need to be upfront with it, give people real updates. Especially the org members that have already paid. I haven't even ordered yet and I bugged by it.

I don't want to be all negative or imply anything but after 3 months you can't even do a charge back with the credit card company.

Just so you know

That sux. I was set on the active tuning grill but would opt for the redline one because of price. I just wouldn't wanna place an order until I knew for sure that they had the grills ready to go. They have been doing good things for us from the beggining so hopefully they get this mess straightened out.

Price is definitely a consideration for me, plus I want the brightest mesh, which I think Redline has, but I'm with you. I would like to see it before summer is out.

I have been watching this post for some time and have reserved judgement until now. I feel I have been as patient as one man can be when it comes to my money. Now I am not rich and I work hard for every cent that I make. I am sure you others are the same way. I have gotten the run around from these guys. It all started with the first grill I got. It was jacked very poorly made. So I called Corey and told him the deal. He said I got you taken care of. Send me the bad grill and I will get you a new one. You will get the first one that is made and sent to you. So like an idiot I said ok! I paid for the UPS back to him. He told me it would be no more than a week. that was in April plus the wait I had for the first grill. Now everytime I call to speak to Corey the guys say he is not there. If you are trying to run a business how the hell can you always not be there. Then he says it will be about another week in his pm's. I am not trying to hate on the guy and his company becasue at least they are trying to get things out there for our cars. But How long must one wait. At this point I am flat out pissed tired of waiting and frankly don't even want the grill. I have had other thing fabricated for my car that were done in 3 days not 3 months. I ordered the black intake that took less than a week my springs took less than a week. UUGGGG!!!!!!!

Sorry for the long post and rant but I am at my wits end.

I will not speak for Corey but I will say **** Happens, IMO here's a guy who went above and beyond to do more for the 6th Gen Max than most companies combined and since he did that got a little overwhelmed by the response. Delays happen, I waited 6 weeks for a CE Y-Pipe, 8 weeks for a Stillen battery bracket, 13 weeks for a Stillen strut brace (just to name a few) and since I have one of the first 6th Gens (04), YEARS for parts to start being produced for our MAX.

Yes Corey is swamped but you guy's should know that every time I see him that dude is busting his a$$ for everyone and is bringing on more reliable help to fix these problems.

Hey Chern don't read this the wrong way. All we are saying is that we want to have staright up answers. If they would not dance around what is the problem them everyone that has purchased a grill would just exhale and continue to wait quitely. But when you don't get told I am overwhelmed and I am having major problems with production and you get told you will have it next week, I got in my hand it is on its way. What would you expect people to think or say. I am sure Corey is a solid guy hell he offered to fix the problem I had with the first grill. I am a straight up guy, all you gotta say is hey it is gonna take 6 months for me to get this to you then I am cool. Or when you run into a problem pick up the phone or email and say I am having a problem and it is going to be a while before I get this worked out. Just wished to be informed that is all we want. Not trying to rag on Redline becasue we are very appreciative of what they are doing for the maxima community at least I am. I just don't like to be in the dark, when it comes to my money. I hope to get more products from him as they develope them. I just want my grill or my 210 bucks!

Not impressed at all! I will be buying parts for my car elsewhere! I have called there only to have it ring and go unanswered!

Chern, your whip is nice! You may be a patient man, but I do believe you are a little biased! I get frustrated reading your defense of this habitual lying! It seems as though you are defending this treatment of your fellow Maxima "Brothers and Sisters".

I have seen it posted when you asked "and you have what proof of this".....you are a literate man, read the posts where Mike DeGuzman has DOCUMENTED ALL of his chats with Corey! Plenty of proof in the pudding!

I have not purchased from Redline, nor do I plan on it! If you can tolerate the inconsistencies, then, more power to you! I, for one would get burned out on these excuses!

Redline may be trying their best, and for that I commend them. The business world is brutal! But you can't keep lying to your customers and then expect positive feedback!

For those of you who bought your grilles, drive down and pick them up! Otherwise, get a chargeback done, and three months is not the limit! I have found that 6 is!

I ordered my grille when they were first put on sale and had to deal with weeks and weeks of lies and unfulfilled promises...many from Corey himself. I am not trying to bash him or any of his staff or supporters but, truth be told, Redline's customer service is beyond poor. I can deal with delays, what I can't deal with, and actually find very annoying, are the constant misrepresentations of the truth and empty promises. As I read though this and so many other threads/posts, I thought to myself that I can feel his/her pain as I experienced it only a few months ago. Since that time I made up my mind never to shop with them again.

Why the F**K are you people still buying stuff from this company. Active Tuning makes a beautiful grill!!!! and they deliver it within 6 days (luck bastards) who got them that quick. Still I would expect 14 to 21 days on average but 1/4 of a year. Damn!!! Thats just stupid.

There are a lot of disappointed people through here with problems they have had with RM. I for one can tell you that between switching owners/locations/websites it has been one hell of a ride for RM. Im sure they will own up to their abilities sooner or later, but as some have said Corey has a lot on his plate and isnt the most organized of Individuals. Give it time, and I assure you it will get better. I am not going to be calling Corey to tell him he has response in this thread because I am sure he knows and also because I probably will not get a hold of him for more than 20 seconds.

Is it just me or are moderators closing these threads to shut this down? (Cutler and NismoMax80) Have they not noticed that Corey was responding only AFTER it was posted here?
This may be the ONLY way for folks to get the grilles they paid for and yet, these mods keep shutting it down! Makes me kind of wonder who's back they are really watching, sponsors or Max owners?!?!

I have tried and taken this to the PM's and yet Nismomax80 hasn't responded at all! I don't get it, do you moderators not get that most of these posted people outside Chernmax, haven't gotten their grilles YET!
And yet Cutler, closed the last one stating that these problems were addressed and solved! Oh really, Mike, have you gotten your grille yet?

Corey, I wish you the best of luck! I truly hope you pull through this with your business doors wide open! I do want to see you succeed. I know it's a tough run, especially with all that you have on your plate.

I do feel for the folks on the receiving end though as well....

I just don't get it!

i just realized that it was relocated.

everyone except the redline sponsored people thought it was in the right place in the 6th gen forum because it doesnt pertain to people with other gen maximas.

All problems with Corey aside, if 6th gen owners want to know about problems with vendors who sell (insert whatever part here) then they will have to scroll just a little further on down the front page and look through this particular section, just like everybody else.

It's in the right place now.

Nice grill...

I have a question about these Grills.

Can your warranty be voided if you put one of these grills on your new Maxima?

I bought my car less then a month ago and would like to put one of these grills on it, but I'm afraid if I have to take my Max for service they will tell me my warranty is voided because of the grill.

Does anyone know?

Thanks...

I didn't realize that perfect grammar was required for people who make car parts. Corey/RM spend their time designing parts, fabricating parts, working on cars, etc....not proofreading their website

Corey/RM have had some issues recently, but let's not act like little children here trying to take cheapshots. I'm willing to bet I can find some posts of yours that contain grammar and/or spelling mistakes. Hell, I once saw a misspelled word in a car show glossy brochure from Jaguar....

BTW, for those who don't know, long-time org'er Delvin (FASHIZL) has recently moved back to the DC area and is now working at RedlineMax, where (knowing Delvin) he will get everything running efficiently on the ordering/shipping side and give Corey more of a chance to work on getting/making/designing new parts for you guys. So when you call Redline, ask for Delvin!

I was being facetious. Cheapshots? Uhh... k..

I guess it's just me, but if I were running a business I would think the face that I'm putting out there to the public should be top notch. I wouldn't pass out business cards promoting myself to be a professional of any sort if the business card wasn't professional itself. Same with the the front page of my website. That's all.

You probably could find some posts of mine with grammatical errors. However, I guarantee you if I made a website promoting my business it would contain no such errors.

Either way though I was being silly. Hence the "o_O"
