Loaner car

Just seeing if anyone is experiencing what i am.

I need to bring my car in to get the recall issue fixed along with some other things but the problem is that I do not have another car to use or anyone that can pick me up. Nissan refuses to dish out a loaner car.

Have any of you guys had any problems with receiving a loaner car?

Wow, that's bs on the dealers part, I mean if they won't give you a free loaner car, then the least that they can do is give you a courtesy drive home and back if you need. I'm a porter at a Chevy dealership and we even do that! lol and my local Nissan dealership gave me a ride home when I dropped it off for the sub-frame re-call. You have some dousche-bag service managers at you dealership imho

Yeah my dealer did the same thing. I got 3 loaners out of the million times my car has been it. It's dealer specific, some people get loaners everytime they get service.

I always give loaners to my customers. How else can you expect people to be happy. It' only right that you give them transportation when there new car fails in some way.

I usually call ahead, make an appointment and request a free loaner. I've always gotten one.

I agree that not that many manufactures give out loaners, maybe i'm an just used to seeing my family getting loaners. But it just really bothers me when certain dealers are to stingy to give out a loaner vehicle or bs about it and then seeing a Honda loaner vehicle being driven. Our cars are 30,000 dollar cars, the least they could do is satisfy the customer.

I have left my car at two different dealers in Brooklyn, NY (Bayridge Nissan, Kings Nissan) they both supply a free loaner through ENTERPRISE the second day. So if you need to leave your car for more then a day, they will give you one.

Most Nissan Dealerships have a "shuttle service" which is a minivan w/ the dealership logo stuck on it... and one of the bs workers hop in and take you where you need to go.

I'm pretty sure it's something they are trying to get all dealerships to do to cut down on loaner cars, risk, and amt. of cars they have on site that aren't for sale. It's still up to the specific dealership,... but from a big city (DFW) to a small town dealer... they've only had the 'shuttle'
