Kings Nissan of Brooklyn is full of it.

Received the Nissan 100 point courtesy check-up in the mail. I took the car to Kings Nissan in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn to get the horn fixed. So I decided to get the courtesy check-up done while the car was in the shop. Got the car back and asked if everything was ok. Now, I already knew I needed my brakes done, and the cat shield fell off about two weeks earlier, so I knew that also. Well, the guy said everything was good. So when I mentioned the brakes, he said "yeah, the mechanic (or technician) said the brakes were a little low." I then asked about the cat shield. He went on to say that it's not a vital part and there was no real safety issue with not having it. All this AFTER I mentioned those things to him. Want to read more??

I took the car in for inspection the following weekend. The guy called me in to tell me about the brakes and, get this, BOTH axles were leaking AND the rack was leaking. Why didn't KINGS NISSAN tell me about this? I'll tell you why. It's because THEY NEVER PERFORMED THE 100 POINT COURTESY CHECK-UP!!! Sorry for screaming. I know, I know, as a car owner I should be aware of something as significant as leaks from the axles and rack, but if I missed it, why can't trained professionals find it?? Because THEY NEVER PERFORMED THE 100 POINT COURTESY CHECK-UP!!! I've had problems with them in the past. I kept saying I would not go there anymore, but this settles it. I will take the car to Bay Ridge or Rockaway Nissan... unless I can find a good, reliable mechanic.

If you think Bay Ridge or Rockaway is any better your greatly mistaken. THEY ALL SUCK! I've had problems with them all, and i've had 5 nissans. IMHO i'd go to Jersey. They have better service and everything.

But i am surprised they didn't do the 100 point. They usually send that crap to you so that you can come in and they can rape you by telling you everything is falling apart...that's how that get money pretty much.

My old dealer was like that...

I went in for new front brakes, I told to check over the entire car and look for anything bad... I get the car back, they tell me nope everything is great...

The next week I had the car in another shop having the coolant flushed, Autotrans fluid flushed and the coils changed... Then six months later I was getting the front brakes replaced again because they never bothered to put new pads on, just new front rotors.... They paid for that!

I take my car all the way up to GEIS Nissan and I live in bk. I would never go to any bk nissan stealership.
