First 5 years of dealing with them= great.

The last 5 = HORRIBLE. Steve Richardson (parts mgr) is a jackass, and when you have a jaskass in charge, everyone else follows. you see where I'm going.

see many of the other threads in this forum about courtesy. you'll see what I mean.

That's all I wanted as an explanation, and yes, there have been many more reports of them being sub par lately.

I see what was done here. Fire the jackass.

I'm going to leave this thread open (for now) to see if we can actually get some sort of clarification why they "suck" so much from the OP.

If none, the thread will be locked for lack of information.

But they won't sell them to you because it's their only display part in stock. you still gotta order it (just like any other dealer) and wait for it to come in. and going by Courtesy's standard practice of hiring the stupidest parts people on earth, you will wind up getting the incorrect part and have to ship it back. but wait! It's special order! You can't return special orders, even if THEY screwed it up! Especially on NISMO stuff because there's no way they'd mess up a nismo order, so it had to be the customer's screwup.

AMHIK.

and ohhhh the exorbent cost of shipping parts to Canada. I bought a "nismo" oil tee the part was under 10us and the shipping was almost 17us. The part is about 1inch by 1" and came in a ups box that was 8.5"*11". Also, it was double packaged. First in a ups express envelope and then in a ups box. Maybe they wanted my first born as well?

Yes, I'd agree that the service at Courtesy Nissan has declined. Since my joining data to the org, I've known of them. In the past, I contacted them about a part, and when i mentioned that I heard of them through this org, the guy i was dealing with via email even considered giving me a break on shipping (i didn't end up buying the parts anyhow), but now, when I request for parts, they treat me as a regular person coming in and out of their shop.

Too bad. With such a concentrated group of Nissan owners here in the org, you'd figure that they'd try harder to welcome our business.

yea i called up about a month ago and asked about pricing for the OEM floormats and the OEM airfilter. the guy said 75 bux for the mats and 15 for the filter. then i said "im a member of maxima.org" - and it was like he flipped a switch. he all of a sudden was much more friendly and said "i think we can do something about these prices". he ended up quoting me 63 for the mats and 10 for the filter. im stupid and didnt write down his name.

so two paychecks later im prepared to call in an order. i call up and say id like to place an order AND im a member of maxima.org. he says ok. i tell him what i want and the total comes to 90 before tax and shipping. i said, "wait, i was quoted 63 and 10 for the parts about two weeks ago, i got a maxima.org discount". he said, like i was some idiot, "no sir the prices on our website are ALREADY discounted". so i asked "why was i quoted 17 dollars less two weeks ago" and he said he didnt know...

all ended up working out cuz i called up dave burnette at southpointe and got almost identical prices (64 for mats and 10 for filter).
im goin southpointe all the way from now on. even taking courtesy off my favs...

My experience wasn't so bad. I bought a strut bar and a fog light kit from them and all went smooth except the strut bar they could no longer get so they refunded me the money. The fog lights came to me a day earlier than quoted so to me they aren't so bad.
