so i ordered a Megan cat back from jmautoracing back on 7/23 and after all the crap this guy has given me about shipping,backorders and whatnot it finally arrives today.Well i can be honest with you i felt like the boy from the christmas carol getting the red ryder bb gun.This is what i got instead of enjoyment.Now im a easy man to deal with and very understanding but let me tell you this has got me

I have asked you to send me a phone number and the number you sent me was invalid. I am trying to get you the new exhaust sent out today. I don't care what megan had to say, you are my customer so I am going to take care of you.

Work it all out and let us know if it were resolved. Remember folks, it's upsetting when you receive something that is damaged or incorrect, but communicating with the company or customer is the most important thing to do in order to resolve the problems. I could understand creating a thread if JM refused or would not work with you, but you gotta give that Yankee fan a chance first.

HAHA VQ no need to hate on the yankees anymore. The curse has been over for a while now. If your ever in NY feel free to PM me and well go see a yankee/sox came together.
But on track with this situation, I feel 100% for the customer and willing to help him out 100% and get him the righ exahust undamaged. Unfortuantely things happen, and if it was one of my guys that sent it out, they would be fired, but I will make sure you get your new exhaust and its sent out today if you would just give me a call. 516-287-8522.

Thats a different number then what you emailed to me. But unfortunately I tried contacting that number about 5 times and left 3 messages. But for whatever reason, i did not get in contact with you.
However I filed a complaint and Fedex will be picking up that bad exhaust and your new one will be going out once you contact me. Again that phone number is 516-287-8522. I can not do anything else until you call me.

Not trying to throw OP under the bus at all, but if I were JM, I'd be in for more pictures of the damaged product before any further transactions took place. Also..how about a timestamp?

Even if its PSed or not, the thing to note here is that JMAUTO is actually handling this situation a surprisingly profesional manner. Something that is lacking now a days in most companies.
The simple fact that he is actively comunicating with the customer trying to resolve this issue is enough to show the honesty in this company alone. He also offered to send another one as long as the customer sends the damaged product back. This is just a normal, good buisness practice which can turn an angy frustrated customer into a lifelong customer.

One thing I did notice is if you look at the edge of the plastic wrapping, all of it has a sharp edge in contrast to the backdrop. Now, look slight up and to the left of the crushed exhaust pipe...notice that the edge of the plastic is blurry?

on a serious note, since he's decided to handle it, even if its just because you made it public, take the opportunity that he's at least about to send you a good catback, based on his word among the whole maxima community. right now HIS company's reputation is at stake because of your word.

You chose to take it directly to megan racing and made it known to me by posting 3 diffenert threads on this forum as well as following to my celica forum and posting things there. I have tried contactig you since 5:30 et yesterday afternoon. Not once have i received a call back from you.
Well I'm a seasoned photoshop user and that picture looks/is photoshopped. People will try anything to get something around here so I'm calling the whole ordeal BS.

The building i work in gets no reception for verizon at all.i have given him my number.he has my personal email.and if you think im handling this bad you should se how he had handled me as a customer i can forward you the email that he and megan have sent me.he only wants to handle this in a nice manner now because i chose to make it public.

dude i dont want nothing for free!and at this point the exhaust means nothing at all.sent me something that looked like it was opened wrecked and put back in the box.i dont really care how it happened.i dont care if i have to wait for a replacement the car has been sitting this long.and i never said he wouldnt replace it!it may not of been his fault thats why i got on megan first.
x2...you wont call him because you're at work but you will hit up the forums while at work..i'm sure between 4:30am and 9pm you get a lunch break...
Just did lunch and called.I just want to point out i did not say he(JM) didnt offer a resolution or was not going to replace it.Megan acted like they were not going to replace it they tried to say it happend while i was installing it.Its still in the wrapper!then told me they would have to discuss this.so those 2 statements right there spell NO your on your own.

And as far as photoshopped have him post the pictures when he gets it back!and i truely welcome anyone who lives in the area to come see it for yourself.
Ive also noticed how some comments stopped after i said nothing moves until i have it on paper.this is because most of you would feel the same darn way you can not prove in court what happens over the phone.remember I(You) are sending a product back to someone with the trust that a replacement will come.
