Hello all,

I'd like to know if anyone has ever transferred a lease. In other words someone takes over your lease. I've been doing some reading and according to some sources online it says that even though someone else takes over your lease that you are still responsible sort of like a cosigner if the person that takes it over doesn't pay. So why would I want to transfer a lease then if I'm going to be worried about that person not paying and affecting my good credit?? Does anyone have any concrete info?
