how to make dash match/ re-dye dash
as most of you probily have hte same problem, my dash and airbag cover do not match anymore. the airbag cover stayed brownish but it turned really shiney. the rest of hte dash faded into a wierd brown. anyway i can make it match again? how much to re-dye the dash? thnx
You've got the same problem as me. Plus, my airbag cover has lost some of it's color, showing some black. I'm still trying to figure out how to take care of it. In one post, someone said the airbag cover is part of the dash, and another said it's part of the airbag assembly. Either way, I need to take mine out and re-paint with vinyl paint ((like Sem's Color Coat). Anyone know for sure about the airbag cover?
Kevlo911, I've got a '97 Pearl White with the beige interior, too. Wasn't it nice of Nissan to match our dash, pillars, and airbag cover so well?
