Got Sharpie on my seat!!!

Does anyone know the best way to get black sharpie ink out of my seat? Its just one short line about 3 inches long. Accidently marked it when I was mad. I have grey cloth seats. Thanks.

Hairspray works for ballpoint pen, guess it would also work for a sharpie.

I believe Sharpies and other "permanent" markers are alcohol-based, because rubbing alcohol dissolves the ink (and latex-based paint!). The best way would be to remove part of the seat cover. Apply fluid from one side with a big wad of paper towels to blot up the alcohol and dissolved ink on the other. Otherwise, wet then blot from the top side without removing the cover. Seat material is pretty durable so you should be able to get it out.

Question

On the 2003 Maxima there are rubber gromets around each door handle. Well my car got repainted and they painted the black rubber gromets on the drivers side. Is there any way to get the paint of these black rubber gromets?

All any help is so appreciated?
