Leather Seats Scratched!

I know I tend to post threads without searching enough first, but this time I couldn't find much on this topic. Yesterday my cousin borrow my Max for an hour or so. When she returned it there were huge scratches on my 2 front leather seats. They're about 8-10 inched long. They didn't rip the leather, they're like surface scratches. The almost look like creases. It turns out her dog (Black Lab) got loose and decided to jump in my car! I tried some leather conditioner on them hoping maybe it would loosen the leather and even them out a bit, but they still look the same. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Thanks.

Thanks.

Is it actual scatch marks that you can feel a difference in the texture, or is it more like simply a discoloration or indentation in the leather????

I hear ya, but that's the only thing I wanted to avoid. If they're not that deep would something else besides leather conditioner make it look a little better?

I feel your pain. I have a long 6-8" scratch in my drivers side. I must of had something in my back pocket when I sat down. It didn't tear, but left a huge gouge on the seat. Not much we can do I fear, except pay extra special attention to the spot with conditioner.

Tough Love Repsonse:

Either live with it, or replace it.

Those are your options.

Sorry man.

The dog "got loose" and "jumped into the car" huh? I sure wouldn't be paying for the seat covers...

exactly... take it to a good place and have them give you an estimate to fix the leather professionally, then give her the bill or tell her you're doing this and she needs to pay.... It was her fault and her responsibility, so get it done right!

This is true but she's a broke biach! Plus, she's probably lying about the mut getting loose. Im either gonna live with it or have it professionally looked at.
