my black max got keyed! help

my black max got keyed! help

on the front passenger side door, someone keyed my car. it's about 14 inches long. what is the best way to fix this? how much am i looking at to spend?

If your fingernail catches the scratch, it's probably too deep to remove and the best you can do is just reduce its appearance a bit....

Take 3M rubbing compound and apply IMMEDIATLEY.

If you wait time it gets MUCH harder to conceal. Reason? The scratch wears along the edge and all the loose paint particles fall off.

I would think that if a scratch was that deep, reducing it by polishing would be only partially sucessful anyway.

Can you post pics? Because I might be able to tell what you can use to take it out, unless it's too deep. BTW, Sorry about the pain and I hope Maxi will get better soon.
