Car Care.....

i just want to know what you guys use to clean your rides and how long it takes in total??
it takes me about 5 hours to clean the entire thing
2 1/2 on the inside
2 1/2 on the outside
i use armor all on everything in the inside and armor all wheel cleaner and tire foam and finish off with meguiars wax.
HARD work but looks damn good when finished.

Takes me about 2-3 hours outside but only 1 inside.

My inside stays clean. (when friends aren't morons. *like that happens *)

I predict this thread will be moved to detailing before too long. I have never timed my cleaning. I have so much fun doing it. I use a variety of products.

dont use armor all on tires. Over time, it will turn your tires brown.

There are plenty of wheel cleaners and tire gels out there; for example, Meguiars, Eagle 1, etc

I've used every possible option out there for tires. I found that stoners, by far, is the best there is for tires. No overspray and drips, it doesn't spit off onto your nicely waxed car when you drive it and it hols a nice shine for at least a couple weeks.

I like Stoner's too. I buy More Shine Less Time for tires by the case.

mcguire's 4 step system (or just wax depends on time, and i know i can never spell it right), armor all for the dash panels, armor all leather care for the leather, vacuum, wet towel rub on the headliner.

no brand wheel and tire cleaner. works good so why bother with anything else. i don't use shine anymore since it's gone in 1 day anyway.

takes me 3-5 hours, and 20 minutes on the inside (excluding glass). then another couple minutes painting over all the stone chips

and if needed a wipe of the engine here and there. keep your engine clean, you won't have to wash it (often).

once a month. 3x the interior per month.

If i do a straight wash, it will take me around an hour or two. If I am detailing, expect it to take 4-8 hrs.
