Waffle Weave for drying

Just wanted to share what I think is a great product with the rest of you.
Many people (me included) have had trouble efficiently drying our cars in the past. This is especially important in the summer, where the car can dry by itsself before we get a chance to, leaving those nasty water spots.
I have tried many different means and methods to dry my Max. Everything from 100% cotton terry towels, chamois, water blades, leafblower, and even high speed driving. Cheap cotton can cause marring of the paint, and once wet will leave streaks. It also lints. Chamois don't have any nap to hold any grit that may be on the paint (dust in the air, missed spot while washing, etc...). This grit can then be dragged across the paint, causing scratches. Same with water blades, and for me, they make a horrendous screeching sound that reminds me of fingernails on a blackboard. Not what I want to hear from something touching my paint. The leafblower works well for chasing water out of mirrors and cracks, but is inefficient at drying a whole car. High speed driving only gets dirt/dust on the wet car, and not all the water is blown off, leaving streaks and water spots. I have always fallen back on the "sheeting" method (low pressure, high volume of water so that it literally sheets off the car), with quality (expensive) 100% cotton terry towels.
That all changed Wednesday. A fellow member of www.autopia.org introduced me to a microfiber waffle weave towel that he distributes from his site. I use microfiber towels for product removal and such (the best I've used is from his site. It's the gold one, but that is a different review). Anyways, his blue waffle weave easily dried my Maxima with absolutely no streaks, spots, or lint. I then made a smart comment to my wife about me thinking it would dry her Nissan pickup, too. Well, long story short, it did her truck, too. Both vehicles with one towel. No wringing, streaks, spots, or lint. Simply amazing. I wanted to post about it then, but thought I should use it again to verify my finding. I didn't want the newness of a product to cloud my perspective. So I used it again today, with the same amazing results.
The towel is very high quality, even down to the microfiber border which prevents it from scratching (a lot of microfiber products have polyester or other material for borders, which can scratch). The towel is soft, lint free, and just the right size. And it is amazingly absorbent! It is also less expensive than other waffle weave drying towels, making it a true bargain.
If you are in the market for quality microfiber towels to pamper your Maxima with, check out Patrick's towels at www.exceldetail.com. He is a stellar person to purchase from (he doesn't even make a profit off of shipping like a lot of companies do), with quick service. His towels are top quality, and the price can't be beat. I've been so impressed with his towels, that I had to order some more. After using his, the Turtle Wax, Black Magic, and Wal Mart microfibers I have an abundance of just don't cut it anymore. Those will be demoted to wheelwells and engine detailing now.
Sorry for the length, but I thought I had to share this find with the rest of you. If you have any questions or comments, reply to this thread or PM me. I'll be glad to help you out.
