Hi All,

I have recently tried several auto glass cleaners, such as the TurtleWax Auto Glass Cleaner, but I wasnt satisfied with the results, it leaves significant streaks and marks on the window, even though I try hard to clean it and dry it up with new cloth or paper towel instantly.

Is there any wonderful glass cleaner that is also safe on tint that you would recommend?

Thanks.

If theres a Subaru dealer near you, go in and ask them if they have any Subaru Glass Cleaner. It comes in a blue aerosol can. I detail cars for a Subaru Dealership and this stuff works amazingly. Best stuff I've ever used to tell you the truth. Not sure how much it goes for per can cause I use it for free, but it shouldn't be that much.

Glass cleaner to me is only as good as the towel . A old worn out cotton/terry towel is the BEST for cleaning windows . You know the old towel thats super soft in your closet . Cut it up and use it on your windows ! Paper Towels suck for cleaning windows

Use Stoner's glass cleaner. I also use Stoner's Tire Shine. Their products are the best!

You can find their products at most auto stores.

I just use the same Meguiar's Gold wash that i use on the car.

Make up a bucket of hot water and Meguiar's, get absorber wet, wash window, go over with terry towel, and then a micro fiber towel to make sure there are no streaks. Very safe and comes out perfect. Very, very cheap too.

When you buy 3 cans of Stoner's at their website, you get 3 of their reusable cleaning towels. They are really good also. I've been using the product for over a year with no complaints. The only trick I use is to take off heavy dirt first, then use the Stoner spray and towel. This keeps the towel usable for many uses.

I use Stoners Invisible Glass under normal circumstances. For harder to deal with windows, I had a concoction that was a mixture of Eagle One 20/20 and rubbing alcohol. I used that concoction on a Grand Am whose owner heavily smoked blunts and I killed the stains with one spritz and a wipe of my microfiber towel.

Baby shampoo is a cheap alternative which smells good and works great. It is safe for tint also.

Don't use anything with ammonia in it. It breaks down and dissolves the adhesive on the tint, especially in the hot sun.
