New Owner, quick question...help!

Hello my fellow Maximaniacs. I just purchased a 20th aniv Max (01' of course). The dude at the supply store told me to use the maguiars wipes on my vinyl but when I did that, it dried up all nasty. It came out really spotty and was too shinny in the areas that it stayed on. Should I even be using this stuff? One more thing...How often should I use the lotioned leather wipes on my seats? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You can buff the surfaces with a microfiber cloth. That should cut down on the shine some. If you want to wipe it off almost entirely wet the towel and wring it out.

Generally I've heard that "wipe" type products tend to suck (for various reasons). They're convenient, but that's it.

Look into a trigger spray vinyl protectant like the original Armor All and a different leather care product or products if you go with a two part cleaner/conditioner.
