Where to find a GOOD chamois?

I used to have a good commerical one that I got from a dealership and I lost it. I recently bought two new ones that are much smaller and they are crap, they bunch up and don't soak up very well.

does anyone know where i can get a good heavy duty one?

I share your experience. A good chamois is hard to find. Most of the ones I see are real thin and don't work. I got the one I have now at Costco (it's a little thicker). I just happened to be there when they had them (pure luck). Anyway, after soaking it in soapy water per instructions to cure it, it is working good for me. Check any place that has auto parts and check thickness (might have to check many places). I don't know any place on line. Good luck.

I prefer using a waffle weave microfiber towel to dry. Its much easier to dry and less chance to scratch the finish of your car.
