Any way to cure the spiderwebbing in our paints?

Is there any way this can be cured w/o having to go to a body shop to or are we s.o.l. on this?

Are you the original owner of the vehicle? Mine does not have that. What you describe is typical of autobody work, but if you are the orig owner and have never been in an accident, beats me why your paint has done that, short of the dealership repairing the vehicle before you bought it. It happens, there are new cars with the stickers on the windows getting body work done near the PHila airport all the time.

hmmmmm, to get rid of the spiderwebbing I would think you'd have to get rid of the spiders first. Otherwise, new spiderwebs will appear.

Half way from one of my trips from the San Francisco Bay Area to San Diego I went through a gas station car wash. The car got a bunch of fine scratches from the brushes. I though that I was going to have to go to the bodyshop. As soon as I got home I washed the car, did the Meguire's three step system(cleaner, polish, wax), and that helped a lot. If you look closely you can still see some of the scratches, but by using the Meguire's their appearance was greatly reduced. I do the three step system every 3 months or so.

My brother was the original owner when he got it in '98 and he's had 2 accidents w/ the car, 1 w/ someone crashing into his driver door and the other was a front-end accident, so either this was a bad paint job caused by the collision shop or Nissan's paint quality is terrible

I had a '98 Altima prior to the Maxima and I had 2 accidents w/ that (both frontal) and never ran into spiderwebbing w/ my paint
