Has anyone tried the New Filtered Mr. Clean washing system? Thoughts/feedback appreciated.

Also, I have an '03 SE w/ Leather and am a little hesitant to use a leather cleaner in the car because of a newborn. Any suggestions??

Yes, many have used the Mr. Clean system and found it works as described.

Leather cleaner & then a conditioner (or a combo if you prefer) is a good idea even if the car is new. Don't worry, the cleaner isn't abrasive and won't damage the leather.

 

Most leather cleaner/conditioners shouldn't affect a baby's skin; though if you have a very sensitive baby (especially for a baby,) I would then hesitate with using a cleaner. The conditioner is not something that should bother your baby's skin, but the cleaner, if anything at all, would. With a baby though, you'd obviously be using a child seat, so he/she should not be affected.

Also, if you do decide to use a cleaner, I would suggest trying it in a part of the cabin opposite that of the child. You would then be minimising the amount of cleaner used, and therefore if any reaction is found, it would be minimal compared to cleaning the leather on the whole car. (I would suggest cleaning the drivers seat first.)
