Hey everyone,

I can't really find much info on the .Org as I don't have the searching power.

Wondering what are your thoughts (for those who have used it) on ZAINO waxes/polisher? and what you think of it?

Also, are there any cons of using Zaino?

Used the Zaino Z-2 and Z-6 sequence twice following the intructions carefully. Started with washing with Dawn, polishing some needy areas with Malm's Ultrafine, and then alternated two coats each of the Z-2 and Z-6. Results on my 03 Majestic Blue Max: Incredible, and it just keeps getting better. Have been spritzing with a 50/50 solution of Z-6 and distilled water for pollen touchup. All my buddies at work went to the parking lot to admire the results - the one with the black G35 went back in and went online to order.

 

I really need to get this stuff, I hear so many good things about it.

Have you ever tried their polish .. Z5? For removal of swirl and fine scratch marks? You probably don't have much if you had it since you baby it from the beginning. I've got alot of spiderwebs, light surface scratches, wondering if Z5 would help it..

If you have a lot of swirling and fine scratches I would highly suggest polishing them out using (typically) 3M or Meguiar's polishes. Z5 isn't capable of actually repairing any of these defects, and it attempts to fill them in instead. However, last I heard, this effect is (not surprisingly) only minor.

The only "cons" to Zaino that I can think of right now are the facts that you have to do the application more carefully, and it is up to you to prep the paint well, since Zaino doesn't sell any prep products. Other than that, it is a great product that lasts forever (almost ) and looks good.

so using a brand such as 3M or Meguiars polishes after the initial claybar process? Then going ahead and use the Z5 (if needed?) and then Z2/Z6/Z2/Z6 in this order?

(Pardon my ignorance.. really new to this body detailing, but learning lots from everyone here..)

I have the Entire Zaino Product line and it is Truly amazing. I had a
hard time justifying it before, but now that I have it, there is no doubt in my mind its worth the money.
I follow the directions to a tee and the results are spectacular.
Z-6 is a Phenomenal Product, and can be used for many applications.
Z-5 is great for removing swirls and fine scratches.
Z-2 is what I do as a last stage of my polish, because of its high Optical Properties.
Z-10
and Z-9 is great for the leather interiors and even ups that Leather smell

I can give you tips on the entire process if you like.

But, from my point of view, and all my friends that have it, LOVE It.
The best stuff on the Market, Bar none.
