.......How do I treat fresh paint??????

I just had my stillen front lip painted.. it's nice and glossy and all, but the paint is fresh, few days since it was applied. I remember reading about a period of time that i shouldn't wax fresh paint?

My body shop said to wait 60 - 90 days to wax in order to let paint cure. The warmer the weather the weather the faster the cure time. Not a problem to wash.

Yea, probably at least 60 days. I had some trouble with my hood that was painted last fall...I sealed it after 60 days. With the paint I just got I am waiting 60 or so and then just using S100 until the end of summer to let it "breathe".

It sucks man, my hood is swirled SO INSANELY BAD, but I gotta wait! Gotta keep my hands off it!

Washing is okay, but I would be very careful. Basically, after it has had time to cure is when you can start worrying about it looking good. The less you **** with it now the better.
