I have been using the zaino on the max- Have about 4 coats of z2. Looks incedible. i have been using a coat every time I was the car. If I dont want to use a coat after each wash for time reasons, can i use some nxt spray wax after each wash? Or can I use some quick detailer spray that is non- zaino? or will it mess up the coat system? Thanks!

 

shouldt be a problem. quick detail spray isnt supposed to substitute a coat of wax, its to do touch ups to dusty lightly dirty cars so you can extend the frequency you need to wash.

 

From what i was reading (correct me if I'm wrong) the z2 layer of zaino polish is the wax. I'm sure with all those layers you should be fine. It protects and seals the paint. I have no experience with zaino, and i'm going to get some to play with when i get the cash.

From what I read on the zaino site, that coat is good for 4 months, so 4 layers should be plenty if you managed that every few months. I think using zaino each time might even be overkill.

BTW are you using z5 as a base, before you apply z2?

 

I don't know if I'd use another spray wax, but any QD should be fine and not really damage your existing Z. BTW, nothing says you have to apply something to it after a wash..... if you don't have time you dont' have to. Same goes with the Z - 4 coats is plenty.
