I want to clean and polish the plastic headlight lenses on my 99. What should I use to do this? I want them to look brank new. Anything that takes out scratches and polishes the plastic. Thanks.

Not sure about back to brand new but clearer than what it is now. Many people had good results with Plexus cleaner. If you want brand new then you will have to buy a pair of new headlights.

ok I just used a little bit of the plastix and it did really good on the guage cluster lense I tried a little on the headlight but Im not so shure about it since the scratches seem to be too deep to remove. I did it at 2am so Ill test it for real tommrow

Novus has a couple 'grades' of polish that can remove light scratches. IIRC, I got some at my local Harley dealer.

If your headlights look dirty or hazy, remember that they can get dirty on the insides of them too....

Thanks for all the polishing tips.

Yes, I know the insides can get dirty. That's why I posted this thread about disassembling foglights. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=323705

I assume foglights and headlights can be taken apart the same way the tails can...in the oven? Help me out.
