Zaino

I'm considering getting Zaino and detailing my car, or at least waxing/polishing it.

What is the best way to go.

I'm thinking of getting:

1.) ZFX Flash Cure Accelerator additive - as per their recommendations on the site.
2.) Z-2

3.) Z-6

4.) Custom Polish Applicator

All together it should run me around $50. Is this is good plan?

Seeing how your car is 4 years old now, just make sure that the paint doesn't have a lot of swirls or oxidation visible, or your Zaino purchase may not justify its cost.

Zaino is a good, durable product, but has pretty much ZERO capability for improving the looks of a finish that is less than perfect to begin with. If that's the case then I would recommend a 3 Step process from Mothers or Meguiar's over Zaino, unless you plan on spending the time and effort required to fix the paint.

If your paint still looks great, then sure you have (arguably) the minimum stuff you need for a Zaino purchase. I'd get more than one applicator though.

I think medernza is the way to go. It is also seemingly cheaper then going the zaino route, and i think far less complicated. Also, hazing is not necessary, so it's alot faster.

Bman is dead on. Zaino is incredible, but you have to have a flawless polished surface. With a 4 year old black car, I would recommend a high quality polish like Malm's or any other good swirl remover without any wax. Then if you have any arms left - you have picked the right Zaino products.

I'd recommend going with DACP and then Klasse.
