Washing the CF hood

ok guys, dilema. i've had this weird stain on my cf hood for about 3 months now. and it all happened when i used my chamois when i first bought it.
when drying the hood with it, it left some weird streaks. i know its not the clear coting, because when driving the car, its still hella shiny and you can only tell of the smuges out of the car in certain angles.

what do you guys use to wash your CF Hoods?

i've tried waxing it, and it cleaned only the surface that i rubbed but left the weird smuge around where i applied the wax. and if i tried doing it on the smuge, it would go away, but leave another smuge around it. im going crazy.

Have any pictures? That will help to diagnose it. As far as removing it wax is not going to help one bit. You'll need a paint cleaner/polisher for that.

It's Chamois chit. Your hide wasn't dead yet and relieved itself on your car. Waxing it just pushes the chit around. Try wiping it down with alcohol or vinegar then polish and wax. Then throw the chamois away and use towels - cotton terry or microfiber.
