Spots on side mirrors

Ok on my side mirrors I have those spots that look like water spots you know. BUt when i try and clean them with glass cleaner they dont go away. I can t figure out why they are still there. What could I use to get rid of them. They seem like they are in the glass or something lol.

Thanks guys.

Try some vinager and water. They are likely hard water stains and will need a bit of an acid to remove them. Making sure your mirrors are completely dry after you wash the car will help prevent that from happening in the future.

However if its a black/brown discolouration along the edges it means the mirror is corroding and will need to be replaced.

Can't hurt. Its the acetic acid in the vineager that removes the hard water stains.
