Need Help!!! Tree sap wont come off

Well I havent drove my car in a while, so it sat for like a month. During that time, a bunch of flower pettles were on my car and apparently they have sap on them. Now this stuff has hardened and i cant seem to get it off for the life of me. NOw i dont know too much about detailing but if some1 can help me out that would be great. What products work best to get the worst type of sap off thats been sitting on my car for a couple of weeks?

claying the area should get it off (as well as other stuff that's on the paint)

if u ever get sap on your car get it off immediately it can actually stain your paint and leave it looking a different color. A clar bar should get it off without batting an eye

Actually, you might need a decent tar remover to soften and/or remove the sap. Try Stoners Tarminator.

Hey I got this stuff called Bug and Tar remover by Turtle wax. It worked pretty good on getting the road tar off of my car. It also removes tree sap and gives your car a nice shine. Try it you'll like it

rainx??? I would use a tar remover, but test it out on a small spot so you can tell if its gonna mess up the paint. good luck man

what is a good brand of clay bar to get? Ill give that a try this weekend

I had a little time to use this stuff today and i must say its great. I still have do a second time and then use a claybar and i think itll be all good. The tarminator got rid of most of the sap that those areas

all clay bars do essentially the same thing. Brands you can pick up easliy in the stores are mothers, blue magic

i used MOthers clay bar and i must say im really impressed. GOt rid of the sap no problem in the area i used it on. Now all i have to do is find more time to do the rest of the car this weekend.
