Had car detailed

Well, had my car detailed on Tuesday by someone on Autopia.org. Had my engine cleaned, interior and exterior. All questions about what was used and done is in the thread. I did get a SES light and MAF failure symptoms (a warning to anyone cleaning the engine bay, COVER THE MAF) but everything is fine now, besides a stored SES code. Well, on to pics:

Looks real good but I dont know if I would have the patience to wait around 6 hours after a 1.5 drive.

Sean does excellent work, I'm surprised that he didn't cover the intake, but I'm glad it's working out for you now.

Looks like a pretty good job. I've used a gentle shower of water in engine bays, but have taken precautions not to get 'sensitive' things wet.

He NEVER sprayed water on the intake at all. I watched as he did the engine, not a drop of water was sprayed directly on the intake.

johnson:I started to get a little bored from standing there. I learned a few things and will NEVER attempt to detail myself. I saw how hard a time he was having with my hood. And the drive was actually an hour, I got lost so it took longer.

Cost me $160 only because I referred more people to him. He charges $160 for FULL interior and exterior. I believe its an additional $40 for engine.

Wow, that's a terrific price. He provides all of the cleaning materials for that price? Six hours worth of work? Even without the engine, that would be good price around here.

He provides EVERYTHING. It actually too less time because I keep my interior fairly clean. He had some problems with my hood (which he spoke about in the Autupia thread). He was done in around 4.5 to 5 hours.
