Need suggestions on tire shine

I've been using this Blackfire tire shine for a while now. Recently I noticed that the tire shine was being slung onto the paint leaving black marks ALL over the paint. Can someone recommend some good tire shine that won't sling all over my paint. Thanks.

I was having the same problem with turtle wax tire wax it left a great shine but, then I had marks allover the place. Now I apply it let it sit while I dry my car off then I wipe off the access. This seems to help alot. Some of these products claim not to spin off (turtle wax tire wax). If you apply them heavily you just need to do a wipe to get off the rest.

I think that if you wipe off the excess and let it dry, no matter what product it is, you shouldn't have a problem. Just don't spray it on and drive off immediately.

That's the only real problem, I'd say. I always make sure to let it dry for 20 to 30 min. before I drive anywhere. I don't dry it or remove excess, either, and I've never had any problems

Here's also a good idea. Make sure the tires are clean before you apply the dressing. Otherwise the dressing slings off the tires with dirt coming along with them.

I always use degreaser and scrub the tires down well before I apply dressing. Also wait atleast 15-20mins like other members have suggested. I've never had a problem with this method.

Replying kinda late,but......I let it dry for almost 2-3 hours. I installed my kit, washed the car...then went took a shower, ate lunch, THEN went out. So it's not that.

Wheel Wax - Extreme Black.

Its a liquid you apply to a CLEAN tire with a tire swipe, it goes
on easy, and let it sit for 10 mins at least and your good to go.
You can touch the tire with your bare hands...like rub it and nothing
comes off on your skin, its the best stuff I've ever used, leaves a
great look that is CLEAN.

I've tried them all, and this is BY far the best I have ever used, its not messy,
it looks the best, I Love it.

Good Luck.

That's the reason I use the water based protectants on my tires (e.g. 303, Lexol Vinylex). The water based protectants are less likely to sling.

Meguiar's Hot Shine is what I use, and MY God , does it smell good. Almost makes me wanna eat it. Apply to clean tire, let sit few minutes and then your good to go.
Also, maybe its slinging becuase your using too much of it ?? i dunno

I like poorboy's BNB...also waterbased which might be a good idea as prinz suggested. Are you sure the black stuff isn't just tar?

eagle one wet shine, spray that on the foam swipe and leaves tires looking EXTRA clean, but not too SHINY. looks like brand new tires, i'm not a big fan of hyper-shiny-glossy-oily tires.
