College Guys: No Hoes, ...Problem?
College Guys: No Hoes, ...Problem?
Well, I'm heading off to college in less than two weeks and starting to sort out the details. I am bringing the max eventually, (not right away though, too big of a distraction...) anyway, how do you wash your cars when you are away from home? I don't even know if I'll have a hose. Are there any specific products to use? I hate going to the local carwash, ya know.
Wash, clay, wax at home. use the spottles rinse and a wash mit at the car wash. Chamois the car at the car wash and put some turtle wax quick stuff on when it is dry. Not the best wash ever, but keeps the car protected and looking decent.

I go to the self-service carwash first thing in the morning before the sun comes up armed with my own bucket and soap. I wash the body and wheels by hand fairly quickly because i don't want the soap to dry. I use their hose to rinse off and if i need it, i use their wheel cleaner too. Then i use The Absorber to quickly dry the car off and I'm done! I've got the whole process down to about 15 minutes. I do this every few weeks so the Max never gets that dirty anyway. It's a pretty good system for $2.50 a pop. You can polish and wax, but who's got time for that when there's beer and girls around!
Oh i miss college
In fact i miss it so much I'm going back for a master's degree starting in a few weeks!
Best of luck to you. If you do things right, you can set yourself up for a good career and have a good time in the process.

well, thanks. hopefully i can find a self-service wash. i'm planning on waxing it real nice here in a few days to hold it off through the winter, hopefully, and then washing every week or two. I'm really looking forward to it all! all the hard and dilligent studying, that is...
yeah, i gotta get a good job to support my addiction to cars!
Yep, just fine a selfwash place. I'm gonna detail my max b4 i head back to school and then every once in awhile wash it and add a layer of eagle one wax as u dry afterwards. My apartment doesnt have any trees around where I park so I don't have to worry about **** falling onto the car. And whenever there is crappy weather I'm just going to leave the car in the parking garage and get a ride from someone. Good luck

hmm... do they make one that would reach from the 9th floor?

all my friends just laugh and make fun of me and tell me to get a life when I always talk about the car or when they hang out saome day while i'm waxing.

I prefer to use my own chemicals.
