Microfiber Or Cotton Towels When Waxing?
Is it better to use microfiber or cotton towels for removing wax? I have always used cotton but I use microfiber to dry the car and I've been wondering if I should buy some more to wax the car.

Concourse Buffing Towel for removing my S100 and Souveran. Expensive, but worth it IMO.

I used cotton towels for years, but picked up a large pack of microfiber towels at Costco this spring (Sam's has a pack of them as well). I was amazed how much better the microfiber took the wax off. They might not be the best money can buy, but neither were the cotton towels I was using previously...

Microfiber works very well. Another trick is to by your cotton towels from the bath department of the department stores. Cotton towels sold in that section have are a better quality than the ones from the auto stores.

I use a combination of cotton and microfiber towels depending upon what I'm using them for but microfiber is definitely the best way to go. Also try cloth diapers, usually sold in the same area as all other automotive cleaning supplies.

I strictly use MFs for cleaning glass as well as wax and polish removal. Currently, I use Tropical Breeze Microfiber Towels (I get them by packs of 6).
These are the softest and easiest to clean general purpose MFs I have used thus far.
