i got off work '24hr shift" went to my car and i noticed what seems to be red dust all over my car then i came closer and i'm pretty sure it's brake fluid that was sprayed on the car, it was dry when i tried to wash it didn't come all the way out but i was close and now my clear coat seems to be stripped 'dull where the drops were' what can i do to save my paint or it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, that s*cks. I have 2 suggestions. First, a clay bar might remove the remaining residue. Next, you could try a polish to see if it will make the dull spots shine. Then wax.
Pics would be helpful, too.....

In a pinch you could try any of the OTC stuff. They are mostly all cleaner/polish type things. If those don't work, carefully try a polishing compound.

i wet sanded the car to get all the particles and crap off the car then i used 3m rubbing compound which seems to work very well and i'm planning on using 3m swirl remover right after but it's taking me forever because i'm doing it BY HANDno access no a buffer
sorry to hear, i hate when fuuckers toy around with other people's car. i was in class and my car got keyed TWICE and someone wrote "RACE ME!" with their finger on the back of my car when it was dirty...
i have not taken pics yet but i haven't done the bumper either so i'll take pics of that ,,,however when i used the rubbing compound i used a medium cut now the swirl remover can't take some of the swirls off which leads me to think that i need light cut which isn't available where i am any solutions you guys have !!!! oh and by the way turtle wax swirl remover fu<kin' rules
