somebody was hating on my black beauty step in

i got off work '24hr shift" went to my car and i noticed what seems to be red dust all over my car then i came closer and i'm pretty sure it's brake fluid that was sprayed on the car, it was dry when i tried to wash it didn't come all the way out but i was close and now my clear coat seems to be stripped 'dull where the drops were' what can i do to save my paint or it's too late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, that s*cks. I have 2 suggestions. First, a clay bar might remove the remaining residue. Next, you could try a polish to see if it will make the dull spots shine. Then wax.

Pics would be helpful, too.....

What polishes are available around you?
If a good polish doesn't bring the shine back, use some compound, then polish & wax.

You could order clay bars online, but if you're in a hurry try the polish for now. Doesn't sound like there is much available to you locally, which I understand. I get 95% of my detail stuff online. The polishes I use are the Menzerna IP and FP, Megs #83 and the Poorboys line.

In a pinch you could try any of the OTC stuff. They are mostly all cleaner/polish type things. If those don't work, carefully try a polishing compound.

You might want to start with the polish outright and then follow it with the clay in the affected area.

good luck' but sorry 2 say that if it was brake fluid your paint/clearcoat is eaten away.Brake fluid dot 3/4 is highly corrosive to paint.
